I have winamp and double twist installed. I think I prefer doubletwist. Kinda wondering if it's worth it for the paid version.

SD- have you tried dolphin HD mini? I like it a lot more than the regular version.

hate HD mini.  HATE.  was an unholy pain in the ass and wasn't any faster than HD.

How was it a pain in the ass? Mine is fine. It's not supposed to be faster. It has the same engine. It's just a more minimal layout with less stuff in it. It's pretty much the same exact browser.

much worse, fewer options, looks terrible, smells

I wanted fewer options. Tabs are the only thing I need. HD is cluttered and Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

How is HD "cluttered"?

The side bar thing, addons, other "features" that aren't needed on a mobile browser. It's not bad, but compared to mini, it is. I also prefer the speed dial homepage on mini, over bookmarks.

I still am not a proponent of either, to be honest. The UI's are pretty gnarly. Green is a color I would not use at all. If the default browser was easier to tab through and had a homepage button, I'd use it.

I think the fact that the sidebars are only there when you swipe them over removes them from the clutter equation.

I only see the sidebars when I want to see them.....which is sometimes.....which isn't an option on that shitbag mini

Not when you want only tabs and a speed dial homepage. I haven't used it in a while, but it was permanently there when I used it last. No real reason to go back.

If you could be sexually abused by software, you'd be a candidate.

just switched to miren browser, didn't care for dolphin hd very much.  miren is for elite users.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

love having a minimalist main screen on my phone.  only using typoclock and battstatt widgets on the main screen with the weatherbug widget in the corner.  and launcherpro is a must have.  scrolling dock is great.

Mine's no different.

Trying Miren. Hopefully it's better than this dolphin pos.

Desktop Visualizer: You can use alternative icon images to launch applications.
Minimalistic Text: This is actually really powerful. Mess with the layouts a little to get an idea.

I run Launcher Pro Plus. I guess I really wouldn't know if it has comparably worse battery, because I've used it since day 1, but I can get a full day with medium usage. Definitely recommend if you want to make your phone look elite.
