I don't understand how a company like Samsung can mass produce a phone that lights on fire. And I'm not anti-Samsung at all, I had a Note 4 at one point and it was a fine phone.

I'm not 100% certain how all of that works but can't those things just add lightning adapter deals or bluetooth or some crap?

Something else that is very Apple is asking people to adapt the way they do things (e.g. listen to music) in order to accommodate their phone rather than having the phone be adaptable to the way that people do things.

Man you were right, it's definitely hurt the sales numbers taking that jack out.  Apple just doesn't know what it's customers want huh?

I like the water resistance and better battery. Also, I ordered the (apparently) extremely rare Jet Black, so I'll be extra cool.

You framed it as this would somehow hurt the consumer.  That they wouldn't want to change.  Seems to me that Apple is giving the consumer exactly what they want.
