I have this pair of headphones that I brought to work. They say Samsung on them so I guess they came with my phone.
Anyway, when I use them to watch a video on my computer, the background music is normal but the dialog is quiet or muted. WTF!

If you press down the button that is on your headphones, it will sound normal.  I don't know why it's like that,  but it is.  You'll want to not use them on your computer.

If you have two hands available, why not just hammer the crap out of the screen with two thumbs?  That seems much faster to me.

Nope, not faster. You have to touch your finger/thumb to the spot and then pick it up inbetween every letter unless you use Swype in which case you don't have to waste all that time lifting your finger/thumb. Also you don't have to push the space bar with Swype.

I guess you could. You would be doing every other word with alternating fingers. I just tried it (using two thumbs) and it was difficult and slow but that might just be because I am not used to doing it with my left thumb. It felt awkward.

I mean, you do realize that was from 2012 don't you? Do you realize how much phone technology has changed in 3 years? Those people are using slider phones with actual keys for god's sake. That was before Swype was even invented.
