IDEA FOR RICK DARIS: I will sell you my 32gb 4s for like $120 and then just not ship it back to Sprint. thoughts? it's unlocked and then you wouldn't have to get a new contract or whatever.

i have an even better idea... why don't you just ship it to me for free and then i'll never reimburse you for the shipping.

Yeah it was a 32gb 4s and Verizon gave me $210.

i was trying to limp the old evo through my sprint contract expiring in may so your plan really is probably the best. give me a night to see if a bag of rice michigancats this thing for me and if not and your offer stands, let's do it.

I'm not 100% sure how to eBay and would be scared people's stuff would start popping up on my google+ feed.

I sold about 10 of them last year and the average sale price was around $385.  Factory reset and you should be good to go.  Pro tip: Make it mandatory that insurance will be included/tacked on to the final price so you don't get ripped off.  Happened to me on one phone.

well, well, well. thirty minutes ago it wouldn't turn back on but now it will. crisis averted and this evo was apparently built by aliens from the future with some sort of future impossible to break technology.

Well for future reference, I'd highly recommend the Nexus 5. I ditched my Evo 4G LTE for it. Samsung is also a solid choice, but I prefer plain android.

5s arrived. using my fingerprint instead of entering an 8 digit unlock code required by my company has significantly improved my life. to a humiliating degree.

Loving life with the S4 guys! Compared to my old Galaxy Nexus 1, it's like night and day. I realize that the S4 is almost old news with the newer phones getting released at CES and MWC, but I had to do something ASAP because I couldn't take my old phone any longer.

Planning on selling off the S4 and go with either the S5 or the Nexus 6 if I like them enough when April comes around and Verizon has them readily available in stock

Yep. ditching my Evo for an iPhone 4s a couple years ago was the best phone related move I have ever made.

I don't "customize" jack crap.  I use it for work, and some news related apps, and tapatalk. That's it.  And the rough ridin' thing works all the time, never locks up.



My next move is to ditch Sprint, who I've had for 15 years, and move to Verizon and get a 5s and be happy with Verizon and iPhones for the rest of my life.
