after reading the few entries in this thread I don't know if we want cns casey running the science bate thread.  just imo here folks.

It's not just the bumbling buffoonery of the night/day mixup.  I mean, you have to consider that you spelled bait wrong in the title too.

it's threads like these that scare the crap out of me that someday i might need head surgery of some sort and cns casey is the surgeon scrubbing in.

he's a brain surgeon, why not  have him work on your brain.  that's what i always say.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Hypothetically, you should be pretty happy when your brain surgeon doesn't know about super novas.  Probably means he spends all his time studying brain surgery related things.

If I were you, I would start worrying when your brain surgeon seems to know too much about other topics.

won't happen in our lifetime. Sucks because it would be pretty awesome. Wouldn't be nearly as bright as the sun. Too far away. Orion constellation would get mumped up though.

Am I missing something, or might this have already happened?   :dunno:

From what I read in the original article, the Super Nova was expected to happen within the next million years, after it happens the effects would not reach Earth for almost 700 years.  Unless you are asking if something similar could have already happened to which I have no idea.

No.  I'm saying maybe it happened 700 years ago and we'll start seeing the effects tonight.
