I heard from a KU insider that Seff is going to try to relocate his sister to Lawrence to try to force him to stay all 4 seasons should he improves enough to enter the draft early or go pro somewhere else to try to support her.   :horrorsurprise:
I heard the exact opposite, that Robinson pleaded to bring his sister back with him but Self *cracked* the whip on him and let him know he couldn't bring her back.

It's difficult to put into words how disgusted myself and many others have been with the manner in which Self and KU have handled this. But in this time of hardship for Thomas and his family we must pray for them, that they make it out from underneath the slave-owner culture that is Self and KU basketball.

I'm with the rest of the goEMAW posters, Thomas. My deepest sympathies and prayers for YOU AND YOURS.

Ooh, nice outfit. What is that, Dacron?

So have the student athletes spent any time in class in the last week?  I wonder how their grades are holding up in these tough times.

Ummm, if your teammates mother overdoses you get all A's that semester.  Pretty sure it's the same at all schools.

I mean, w/T-Rob having abandoned her already, is that kid going to college regardless of how much money goes into the power forward scholarship fund?  Let's focus on the kids who still have a chance.  You know?

last night, I had a great dream.  Before the game, they had a moment of silence for the lady dying, and when it was completely silent, I yelled "Bill Self Hates Black People!" Then that black lady that runs ku called me into her office and told me that she knew.

might need to put in "last nights dream" thread?  =mods=?

Not surprised. No sirree.  Just another pawn used for the betterment of the Kansas bball Industrial Complex.  They already used up most of the donors/Williams Fund people.  Now moving on to their indentured's immediate family.  sheesh.

i wasn't making fun of him either.  i was just expressing surprise that comforting his nine year old sis after their mom died was less important to him than playing basketball on nat'l tv.

This is really hard to understand, but as someone who lost a parent early like that, you don't really have your head on straight more in shock than anything, trob really needs an adult at a time like this to remind him what is more important, his sister in this case.

robinson explains why playing basketball was more important than his little sister.

Quote
"Blood isn't always thicker than water," he said. "These guys on this team are closer to me than some of my family members."
"a garden city man wondered in april if the theologians had not made a mistake in locating the garden of eden in asia rather than in the arkansas river valley."

I guess so.  Once the photo ops are over...goodbye little orphan, hello getting wasted with the Morris brothers.

So sad that your season is over and you have nothing left to talk about besides KU....but then again, thats pretty much all you talked about during the season, so not much has changed.

So sad that no one at ku gives a crap about a 7 year old orphan unless there is a photo opportunity or she can otherwise be exploited.

Lots of sad stuff out there.

It makes me sick that you would all use this as a way to downgrade KU, they have done nothing wrong here and the only people who think they have are kstate fans. Hell even your own coach was supportive, but then again the fans have always been the problem at kstate. They dont know anything about basketball and they hate KU more than they love kstate.
