I mean, I'm a chubby guy, so anything besides cherry picking and slamming my butt into people to get a board are pretty difficult for me, but I gotta thing screens are pretty integral to making the game flow.

Half court is harder on joints, and it's real easy to just jog from three point line to three point line in full court. Plus the court is too crowded in half court.

I say you play good D any way you can. I think D is an integral part of the game. I myself am not a strong offensive player, so I will D up like I am trying out for the NBA. Sometimes my defensive efforts make up for the fact that most of my shots are airballs.

This is the style of pickup ball I hate. You don't have to get up in my grill like there was a scout in the non-existant stands like a psycho.  That's the worst. Some rando who you don't know, Ding up on you like there's no tomorrow. I'm here to have fun, not for someone to try and draw a charge in a ref free game.

 how many times has maniac come up and guard me in the backcourt when I tried to bring the ball up?  pretty much every time, and usually it involved a serious body check.

 the nice guy made it rain in the first game, were we suppossed to let him stand all alone outside whenever he caught the ball? 

you're changing the issue, the issue is press/no press, not if everyone was nice to the new guy.

@ cartier - the maniac is only one man - not a full court press. and he also earned the name of maniac for a reason. the best way to keep a guy from hitting the 3 is to pressure and put a hand in his face when he has the ball on the perimeter. pretty simple.
