someone would eventually make shots and win you dolt. It can just lead to really long games if don't time them, which can problematic for morning and lunch games with a lot of people waiting.

yes, this is completely on the douche that got pissed he didn't win on before work/over lunch break run. I wish more courts had a clock, only the biggest of douchenozzles would argue the score then

fun little story. so my courts used to play to 11 by all 1's before switching to 17 by 2's and 3's. I NEVER remember someone getting shut out playing by 1's, but there's been a few shutouts playing by 2's and 3's, I think because teams that are down by a lot start chucking 3's.

Anyway, one time I lost a game 19-0 because they hit a 3 when it was 16-0.

there is also a court rule that if there are 10 waiting and a team wins 3 straight, they're off the court and 10 new players come on. I'm guessing you nerds would really hate that rule. (It does kind of suck when you're like me and win all the time but sometimes helps breaking up stacked teams).

pickup basketball should have none of these manufactured "court rules" with the exception of a "first team to # of points wins" and how the game is scored (1's/2's, 2's/3's)

sf rules are outrageous.

the time rule does have to happen for pick up soccer (10 min. or 2 goals, tie both teams off or last winner stays if 3 teams) so I am not completely opposed to it, but using 4 corners as a strategy and the "breaking up good teams" is awful.

i would take the ball in the first possession and hold it for 11:45 minutes and then run a 1-4 flat, drive the ball, draw a foul, win

I know for a fact that an adult league team can score over 130 in two 20 minute halves, running clock btw.
