The stuff I've read says he was the most athletic player in his league last year. He's got some legit leaping and athletic abilities. I think his biggest problem is he can't shoot, but thats not very Missouri valleyish.

not being able to shoot is very mid-majorish for guys that are very athletic.

taking a bunch of guys that can't play and hoping that a couple of them will be able to in 2 or 3 years is also very mid-majorish.

Yep, hopefully we have a shot with him. I wasn't crazy about Lancona, but much better than Karapetyan. Dibo seems to really have a nice offensive skill set. If we can teach him to just stand underneath the basket with this hands straight up, he'll be on par with our other interior defenders.

Yes, he's on track to graduate from Memphis in June. He's originally from Baltimore, hopefully Chet can bring him in. A big would be nice, but an experienced player at PG (even for one year) would be better. IMO.

of the names i've seen, i like dibo. stats indicate he can shoot and the clips show nothing to indicate the stats are misleading. not sure how they'd play him - not crazy about moving southie to the 3, and who knows if this guy could defend a 5 at all. still, gotta get another shooter on the floor somewhere.
