In the sense that he's a combo guard who plays like a power foward with handles, yes. But Smart is probably the best defender in the league, and I can't find many defensive clips of Foster so it's hard to make that comparison.

Yeah, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that really the only comparison is that they're guards who play like forwards in the paint.

i didn't look at your clips.  you basically can't tell anything about guards from highlight clips, so it's a waste of time.  you can get a much better feel for a big on limited film, but i didn't look at those either.

Possible luke, but did anyone see Thomas isn't eligible until after fall 2013 semester? Really like him after watching this vid.  Definitely think he could help out next yr.

It is a weird deal. He's on campus now, is a full time student now, but can't practice or play until the end of the 13 fall semester. But he'll be around and be ready to play next year by the time Big 12 play starts. I suppose there are some similarities to his path as there were to Walker's when he came here.

we don't have eligibility, he does.  he's sitting on a scholarship, which isn't a waste.
