i'm not saying he is or is not capable of being an above average big 12 guard.  i couldn't tell from those highlights.  couldn't really even see enough to guess.  scouting hs guards is hard.

i could tell he's a below average athlete for a big 12 guard.  looks strong, decent feet, slow, plays big.  bfd, none of that tells me anything.  skills are way more important than athleticism for guards.

Agree with sys on the handle portion.  I've seen some services call him a PG, and I don't see that at the big 12 level.  However, if we continue to play 4 out 1 in, Foster should find a spot where he can be productive right away.  See him more as a 2/3 than a 1/2.  I do think his bounce is better than average though. I think he'll be able to get his shot off.  I see potential to be a good rebounding guard as well.

Other than Mclemore from UK and Smart from OSU, i don't know of any other guards in the Big XII that would be considered an above average athlete. Any d00d that can throw down after going behind the back in a game qualifies as being a good enough athlete for me. His handle might not be the greatest, but he looks very fluid and comfortable with the ball in his hands.

brown of osu is the best athlete in big 12, although mclemore is also very athletic.  smart is a very pedestrian run jump athlete, but if you factor in stuff like strength, body control, balance, etc he might be above average.  i dunno, you have to watch a guy quite a bit before you can get a good feel for things like that.

Westicles doesn't get enough love.  He has a really high ceiling.

Yes, Brown is a freak. And i totally agree. my judgement was based solely off of the film of him playing for Hirschi i haven't really seen any other film of him playing AAU. Would be nice to see how his game looks versus similar competition. I'm still really pumped with what he could possibly offer to our program.... Putting up over 30 points a game like he has been doing recently is pretty impressive.

Yeah. It was my non confrontational way of telling you that you are/were wrong. I count his strength as an athletic attribute though and you mistakenly might not be.
