Here's 1 of those prospects that apparently just popped up as having a KSU offer in the Rivals DB, Marcus Lee 6'8" 200 PF from Antioch, CA, AAU team is Bay Area Hoosiers. 3* NR on Rivals, 90 on ESPN.

I couldn't find any update that specifically states he has a KSU offer, latest update from Rivals sorta mentions KSU, but I'm not certain that's enough to rely on. It does look like he has confirmed offers from Northwestern, Texas, Texas A&M, VCU, and Pepperdine along with strong interest from Stanford, Cal, and Washington. Rivals recently listed him as 1 of "10 prospects worth scouting this Spring"

Again nothing specific regarding KSU(that I could find) but could be a name to watch.

ksf,  Look at his offer list and it's a who's who of college hoops, then if UNC decides to offer, I think that would be really tough to overcome.

Maybe with his KS connections(however minimal they may be, see sys post on prev page from a couple days back), and him being on NTF can keep us in the race. If we land Walker, who's also NTF, that could give us a little more momentum.

In all honesty, I wouldn't put the odds much above 10% for Freeman right now, but hey maybe the dominoes will fall our way for once. We'll have to hang in there and see what happens.

Well, so much for my "hang in there" pep talk, it's tough for the KSU Cats to have nice things. :blank:

KSF42 should be henceforth banned from asking status update on recruits unless they are the recruits that goEMAW collectively decides we don't want.

If there is turnover at Illinois, are we back in the picture for Malcolm Hill?  :dunno:

Hey guys, chin up.  We got our mention(s) that's all that matters.  Plus, guards are overrated anyway.

it does hurt though.  why did he have to go from 9 or 11 or whatever to 2?  he should have cut to 5 and had kstate in the final 5 until july or august at a minimum.  what a dick.

Wainwright update, no mention of KSU:

"Wainright currently has Missouri, Kansas, Florida, Texas, UCLA, Syracuse, Texas A&M, Georgetown and St. John’s showing interest. He's also picked up interest from a pair of ACC schools recently."

“UCLA is probably the top gun right now,” he said. “They are showing more attention that anybody.”

“They’ve been to five of my games this year and a lot of my practices,” he added.

And 1 other thing from that update, Wainwright will be running with Team Takeover in AAU ball, no more KC 76ers  :surprised:

Stats: Ojeleye has the physique of a post player — he’s 220 pounds — but he can jump so high, altering shots along the way. He averaged 8.7 rebounds. Ojeleye can also step out on the perimeter and run the point or hang out at the three-point line, where he shot 38 percent. A strong ballhandler, Ojeleye can run the point, too. His versatility is one reason that a college from every major conference has offered him a scholarship, including Kansas State, Missouri, Stanford, UCLA and Wisconsin. He averaged 32.2 points and shot 61 percent from the field. He led Ottawa to the Class 4A championship game and a 24-2 record.

College: Kansas State
