Have to like our odds of landing an elite player in '12 or '13 class.  Too many mentions/ finalists/bringing in NBA players to boost visits to not actually get a result.

is it really possible that cassidy didn't know about blake's manager cousin?  even the smart ones are ignorant 'tards.

When Cassidy mentioned it, I vaguely remembered hearing about that, but there is no doubt I had completely forgotten about it.

Blissfully ignorant.  :gocho:

Phantom visitor Marquise Pryor gets ranked 13th in Class of '13 rankings in IL:

13. Marquise Pryor, 6-6, PF, Chicago (Orr)
While everyone has bigger and more familiar names ranked higher than Pryor, the Hoops Report will take this undervalued warrior and rebounding machine over most of them. Pryor is always around the ball, making things happen. Strong body, frame, plays hard, tough and has the demeanor you want in a guy who is going to play around the basket.

If there was ever any doubt that Thorpe was an elite prospect, that has been removed now.

a ku poster re. freeman.

Dad has relatives who are K-state grads, who I believe live in and around KC and Emporia. Also, some kind of coaching connection with K-State, AAU or high school. K-State has been after him for quite a while. A new assistant that replaced Delante Hill reportably knows the state of No. Carolina well.

DaveTelep Dave Telep
"Alex Davis, a JC freshman, is big time for Hutch. Cincinnati, DePaul, Dayton, USC, K-State, they're all over the kid. Native of Houston."

As a SR, played on a Houston Yates team that won state championship and went undefeated in 09-10, averaging 13 PPG. Apparently, grew a couple inches late in HS career(6'6" to 6'8"-6'9" ish). Athletic, rangy, shot-blocker(Yates played at a ridicuously fast pace). Prepped for 1 year at So. Carolina Academy.

Wainwright(it sounds KSU has sorta started to recruit him, but no offer to my knowledge), K. Hill(we offered but he said no thanks), and Julius Randle(no KSU interest as far as I know) talk about all possibly playing together at Kentucky.

Thorpe will visit Wiscy weekend of 11/19. He had previously said he was going to visit KSU last weekend, but that obviously didn't happen if you read sys post about him visiting Pitt then. I haven't seen anything about him re-scheduling a visit to KSU. Still says he's strongly considering KSU(1st mention  :gocho:), Wiscy, Pitt, and Penn St.
