Unofficial visits, an NCAA concern in both football and basketball:

"According to Drew Cannon, a Duke student who does research for Telep, 51 of Telep’s top 100 senior basketball prospects had already unofficially committed to universities by Sept. 1. Nearly all of the top 100 had made unofficial visits."

Thorpe update from Pitt Rivals site, says he hasn't heard from Pitt in a while, visits setup in near future are to KSU and Wiscy, expresses some disgruntlement about his Rivals ranking.

New offer showing up in Rivals database, 6'3" 165 combo G Detrick Mostella, 4* from Decatur, AL. Really tough to say if he has a legit offer or not, his game definitely sounds worthy, it's just that his profile lists double digits offers for him, but recent updates don't mention that many schools.

From the recent Elite Hoops Showcase:

"Alabama, Georgia and Mercer have offered Mostella, and he is getting interest from Auburn, Miami and Michigan. Georgia is currently at the top of his list because they are recruiting him the hardest of all the schools."

Dammit, in a previous update, Freeman had mentioned possibly visiting KSU for the "Oklahoma game", doesn't look like that's happening now.

If this guy really did visit this past weekend(has Kline ever let us down in the scoop department?), our staff didn't employ the usual "stroll by the student section and hang out on the sidelines for a bit just before kickoff" routine.
