It's KSU and Wisc going hard for Thorpe too, right?

Both have offered along with Pitt, Rutgers, and Seton Hall. Kline just reported that it's Wiscy currently going after him the hardest right now, planning an unofficial there. Probably not wise to count out hometown Pitt either. And if Baylor throws out 1 of their precious offers, not telling what could happen next.

Like Watkins, 6-foot-8, 195-pound small forward Tyler Roberson is also going to a new school this year. The class of 2013 prospect previously attended Union (NJ), but is now set to be at Roselle Catholic (NJ).

“Like, mostly because of like schoolwork,” Roberson said of his decision to make the transfer. “[This] could help me with my academics and they also have a good basketball team.”

As far as recruiting goes, Roberson has a host of schools coming after him.

“Kansas, Kansas State, a lot of Big East, like most of the Big East,” Roberson said of his list, adding, “A lot of other schools I can’t remember right now.”

Roberson said he holds offers from Cincinnati, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Kansas State and St. Joseph’s. He claims no favorites at this point.

“They’re all coming at me pretty hard,” Roberson said.

Location will not be a factor for Roberson, who said he has yet to visit any schools and has no trips planned.

“Sometime senior year,” Roberson said of his commitment timetable. “It could change though.”
