Possible new prospect, can't find anything specifically linking him to KSU and I reallly couldn't say if he's a high major talent but it sounds like he impressed in his debut in the States and it would be a pretty big coincidence if a ball playing PR native pops up at ACD and our staff didn't have some hand in that placement.

"Gian Louis Clavelle  6’1 – Arlington Country Day: A native of Puerto Rico, this sophomore made a splash in his first event in the sunshine state.  He can score in a variety of ways, very reliable with the basketball, can create off the bounce for himself or teammates.  Should add depth to the already talented Apaches."

Wainwright already holds offers from coast to coast. St. John's and UCLA were the first two to offer, but they have since been joined by Missouri, Baylor, West Virginia, Texas and Virginia Tech....

"My dad is trying to get me to stay close to home, I always thought I wanted to get farther out from home," he said. "When I was younger it was always Florida, Joakim Noah, I used to love his game. Then other players came up and it was different after all of them left."

Gabe DeArmond at PowerMizzou.com reported this week that Ishmail Wainwright will make an unofficial visit to Mizzou during football homecoming. Not sure if he will be in Friday night or just for Saturday. Columbia Rock Bridge Sophomore PG Travis Jorgenson has also informed the Mizzou staff that he will be joining "Ish" that day. Gabe also reported this today on PowerMizzou but I thought I would post it here because I also got this info from another source close to Travis.

Both played AAU together for a couple of years with the KC Cowboys and are friends. Jorgenson played in 2009 with MoKan and in 2010 with KC Pump & Run while Wainwright has played the past 4 or 5 years for Victor Williams and the KC Cowboys. Jorgenson has several verbal offers from some mid level D1 programs like Missouri St & SIU Carbondale. He's getting heavy interest from several BCS level programs in the Midwest including several Big 12 schools. The two schools at that level recruiting him the hardest right now are K St. and KU. Jorgenson likes the hometown school and Mizzou is certainly going to be in this recruitment if they want to be. For those that have followed him and had concerns about his size, he just measured 5'11" this week at school and has been dunking in scrimmages at Rock Bridge, and he doesn't turn 16 until April. He's going to be plenty big enough and athletic enough for Big 12 basketball. Landing both of these young men in this class would be huge.

a post on tigerboard.  don't know if the poster is reputable, but he sounds legitimate.  this is the first i've seen that kstate was seriously recruiting jorgenson.  also didn't know that he had played for the cowboys and mokan.

Julius Randle will be at Late Night as well.

this thread is just for kstate recruits.  i've suggested a thread for non-kstate big 12 recruits, but there didn't seem to be much interest.

S. Florida Adidas Super Showcase update linked below(it's free). Along w/Price-Martin, Stephon Blair('12) is also mentioned in the update but it appears our staff has stopped contacting him as of late:

"Malik Price-Martin, PF- A member of the class of 2013, the four-star four man got himself a few runs with the older guys on Saturday. He's quite skinny but very mobile and has a lot of fluidity to his game. He catches everything, finishes with either hand around the rim and has some face-up to his game. He's got to be careful not to fall in love with hunting mid to deep range jumpers. He's got offers from Ohio State, South Carolina, Miami and Georgia Southern to go along with interest from Kansas State, Clemson, Florida and Florida State."

Malik Price-Martin, PF- A four-star prospect in the class of 2013, the slender power forward was able to score whenever he really wanted to. He consistently beat other big men and most guards down the floor and his mobility and quickness could help to make him a very dangerous weapon down the road. He will block some shots, scores with either hand around the rim and shows developing face-up skills. Adding strength is the most important thing for him to do.
