As annoying as Holthus can be and Harlan before him, these guys are simply at another level in terms of their grasp of the game and their ability to verbally encapsulate the in game action from sequence to sequence.

Honestly i never really pay attention. But i did catch part of the Chiefs game Sunday, and Mitch was damn good at describing what we going on, probably even too much detail. Some people have the gift, others don't.

Yeah, I don't see a firing on the horizon as much as it should happen.  I think it's mostly a Learfield deal.  

All in all, we were pretty fracking lucky with Holthus and Sharpe during the DOD.  I can honestly say, I never really did appreciate that level of professionalism until having to be subjected to the last 8 years or whatever Wyatt-vision.

Well, FWIW, I know Stanbot is kinda a homer, but I like it.  I like how I can usually tell in the pre-game analysis he does (even though he's homering) how much of a chance he thinks we've got. You just have to kinda read between the lines. And his analysis isn't that bad... it's a whole lot better than any TV commentators (at least as far as being accurate).

Wyatt -- Not the worst guy out there, that's for SURE, but -- at times is very annoying. Especially like for instance on a critical 3rd and 10 he'll be all --

"Coffman down under center ... now drops back, looking to pass... he's in trouble! -- Oh, and a GREAT catch before he's pushed out of bounds!! And that was .... Thompson making the grab....

... but it looks like he's gonna short of the 1st down marker by about 2 yards."
