Kansas State Football / Who Will Be Our New SEC Rival?
« on: August 12, 2011, 12:41:25 PM »
When this stuff gets announced (which it will be very soon), who is going to play the role of the Texas Longhorns?  We've dominated them so long it will kind of suck not having them around to embarass the hell out of year in and year out.  But all is not lost- there's plenty of prime pickins to choose from in our new home, the SEC.

Here's my breakdown of each team's rival worthyness-

Bama- aside from their redneck hayseed fans' meltdowns on You Tube I really don't see much to do about these hayseeds.  And they can't even pronounce the name of their team, "Buma" - wtf is that crap?  I never liked Gene Stallings much either, goofy looking Aggie.  They do have some national prestige but not much outside of Alabuma.  I'll put them as Honorable Mention Potential Rival.

Arkansas- too redneck.  Plus that sooeee crap they say is annoying and sounds like some crap you'd here in the back room of a Laotian whorehouse.  They don't make the cut as a potential SEC rival.  Are they even in the SEC?  Last I heard the only thing that was in Arkansas was a mason jar holding Sam Walton’s pickled nuts.

Auburn- this is something to consider- when I went down there for our game against these hayseeds, aside from the many moonshine stills, there just wasn’t much there.  I want our rival to be on the same level as us and similar to the Laotian whoresluts from Arkansas, I don’t think people realize Auburn is even in the SEC.  Nope, no potential rivalry there.  (Especially when you think how one sided it would be, they’d probably want to quit and join the ACC  lol).

Florida.  This is my pick as our new SEC rival.  I say this for many reasons but the biggest one, of course, is that Florida is our sister school.  They share a good part of the national spotlight each fall with us and maybe Texas and I think our two schools could serve as the foundation of the SEC as we look forward through the next couple of decades.  Also, the women in Gator country, wowza.

Georgia- no way, no how.  Stupid bulldog mascot (similar to Aggie’s stupid Lassie thing), no tradition, terrible academics, terrible co-eds.  Just a massive fail on all parts by this school.  Besides, Jimmy Carter is from Georgia and we all know how bad that guy sucked.

UK- no comment, didn’t realize Kentucky had a football program.  We’ll leave these losers to rival against Vandy.  One sidenote:  These comments are contingent upon Calipari not becoming UK’s next head football coach.  All bets are off if that sexy son of a bitch steps onto the gridiron.

LSU- I love LSU.  They’re the reddest of the rednecks.  They live in swamps, don’t even bother with dentures, and share the color purple with their new SEC  bros, the KSU Cats.  IMO they could be our secondary rival and something we look forward to playing each year, similar to how we used to do to Kansas.  Both programs are about on the same level as well (KU and LSU).   Also, That LSU Freak is seriously talented and I would hate to be on the receiving end of his incredible .gifs.

Ole Miss- never heard of them.

Mississippi State- see Ole Miss.

South Carolina- they’re on Thursday Night ESPN a lot playing which means they’re a second tier program in their own conference but they do have the old ball coach on their sidelines and he’s always good for a laugh or two (which happens to be that crockety SOB’s IQ).  South Carolina has their own problems to deal with  (been to Myrtle Beach lately, jebus….) they don’t need the type of pain our program would deliver upon them.

Tennessee- we already own these clowns.  How many times do we need to completely dominate a team before they realize they should just begin forfeiting?  I think they might have a dog for a mascot too. Or maybe that’s one of their cheerleaders.  Regardless, I just can’t imagine playing them as a rival each year.  I’d need a case of Red Bull and 10 8 balls to get up for that losery game.

Vanderbilt.  gee, how cute.

Essentially Flyertalk / greetings and salutations
« on: August 11, 2011, 01:30:35 PM »
i mean this.  stop using them.  i walk into my office this morning and some clown i've never seen before says "good morning" to me.  i don't know this guy.  why does he have to pretend to wish me a good morning because  i know he doesn't mean it.  also, don't say "hey" or "hello" to me either.  i don't want to be greeted if i don't know you.  then he  puts me into a position where i have to be rude and just  keep walking and not say anything back to him.

yesterday as I was leaving work, some girl said "have a good night!" to me and i said "you too".  i don't want her to have a bad night but i also realize that nothing that I say has any impact on how her night is going to turn out. i also don't know her or have any vested interested in the quality of night she has in front of her.

these types of interactions are outdated and need to be abolished.

Kansas State Football / Q for burner trackers
« on: August 07, 2011, 11:38:19 AM »
Hey guys this one goes out to the burner trackers-  obviously I'm putting together my all-burner, Team Speedster, all-hands, all-route runner teams as well as Playboy of the Big 12.

As I dissect each player I also map where they're from.

Question becomes this- do we have any Harris County Burners that I need to know of?

Thanks for your help guys and I'll have the announcements sometime this week.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are going ALL OUT for Perry Ellis.
We have put great prospects like Ashley and McGary on the backburner for the hope of Ellis.  At this point we are almost all-in for Ellis.  There is no doubt in my mind that we are in Ashley's top 7 if we go after him like we have gone after Ellis.  We'd likely be on top for McGary if we went after him like we have gone after Ellis.

Looking at Ashley's list, I hope he commits to Kentucky.  Ashley is ranked ahead of Ellis, and is of a similar size to Ellis.  No way those guys go to the same team.  IMO, UK is our biggest competition for Ellis.

Everything that I have read/heard/seen makes me think that KU is the perfect fit for Ellis.  He is Marcus Morris 2.0.  The perfect 4 in our Hi-Low.  Ellis has the all-around game that makes our offense purrr.  He can pass, dribble, spot-up and shoot, post-up and make moves, and even hit shots out to 3-land.  The 4 is such an important spot in Bill's O; and when a 4 can do what Ellis/Marcus can do... It makes KU downright nasty.

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, COMMIT TO KU ELLIS

Since Conner Frankamp committed to KU I've been breaking down a ton of tape on the kid, and of course the comparisons to Spradling are there.  Frankamp is limited in his ability on both ends of the floor, something we didn't see out of Will.  Will stepped in and picked up the high major game on both ends of the court from Day 1.  I think a lot of how ready Spradling was when he got to campus can be attributed to his AAU team- Spiece MOKAN.

Their kids are ready to play the day they get to campus.  Other area programs don't facilitate the transition to D1 quite as well.

I don't expect Frankamp to see the floor much his first two years at KU.  Although he is a gym rat (like Spradling and all white players), so he should eventually work his way into a back up role in Lawrence- expect 6 mins per game in Jr year, about the same as a Senior.

bacon costs $7 a pound (don't worry, i still bought a ton of it).  after a little research, which i'm great at,  i discovered that your hayseed fathers feed pigs corn and that pork bellies, which make bacon, are selling at an all time high because of a shortage of....you guessed it, CORN.

wtf.  isn't this the corn state?  get off your lazy redneck asses and grow more corn, bacon @ $7/lb, or pork bellies selling @ $1.50/lb is a disgrace and makes you look like a bunch of lazy pieces of crap.

Kansas State Football / It's either me or Heery, one of us has to go
« on: July 06, 2011, 03:44:52 PM »
One of us has to go....Goodbye K-State football.  Until the AD decides to not eff up our BSFS West Side stadium expansion, I will not give another dime to the AD, nor will I attend any further football games.

As a season ticket holder for the past 20 years and a significant contributor to the Ahearn Fund, I can assure you- my dollars will be missed.

Join me fellow KAT fans, let's send a message to the AD that we will not be yanked around anymore.  Stupid assed decisions like this one can't be ignored.

Bring back Populous into the fold or my days supporting this program are through.  What an embarassment.

Thanks, go K-S-U, K-S-U, K-State.

I know Snyder has a few burners on the roster that he's identified as he planned  putting in the package, I wonder who they are?

Does anyone have any guesses?

why do human beings, who were born without gills, like to be in water so much?  science?

pools, rivers, lakes, ponds, ocean, hot tubs, bath tubs, showers, water parks, etc

i wonder if all these people who love to go to the pool so much would rather be fish.  losers.

enjoy it when the water that was just on my nuts ends up on your face and in your mouth.  enjoy that losers.

enjoy hanging in water loaded with fish crap, sewage, dead bodies, etc.

Apparently, a former Duke basketball player and team captain was suffering from depression and committed suicide yesterday in New York City by jumping off the roof of the New York Athletic Club and falling 10 floors.  It's absolutely tragic that the man couldn't have found help before taking his own life.

Fast forward to today and the Phog.net Hoops Board where you can find a thread titled "Duke Suicide" Link Here

These savages from the KU board seem to think it's funny to celebrate the sickness/depression of the man and make fun of his death.  It's absolutely unbelievable.  Taken from their site-

why would anyone choose to post there?

i recently spent some time on that site and it's everything you would imagine a forum dedicated to the athletics teams from a junior college in oklahoma would be.

after reading their posts, i've determined that the collective intelligence of the entire membership of the site rates just below that of the pot roast found at Luby's cafeteria.  what's even worse is that the damn hayseeds don't realize they live in oklahoma, a place the rest of country would rather flush than spend time in.

what a joke of a state, school, athletic dept, website, and forum.  and posters on the forum.
