I've never cooked a turkey and I'm in my 50s. Just not a fan.

Gladiator II was good. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Mrs. IPA was not impressed but she dislikes Denzel. So, you can ignore her shitty opinion.

I've never seen the words 'dislikes Denzel' next to each other.
She thinks he's a one trick pony. No character depth.

Is Thanksgiving the only meal where the leftovers are better than the original?

Had leftover ham with eggs this morning.

All the leftover sides with a ribeye this evening.

Two solid meals today.

Can't believe EMAW engineering would let down our Rayhawk brethren like that.

First time in the Bill since 2021 and only the 2nd time for me in person since 2014. Can't get over how nice the stade is. Band ruled, Cats ruled.

I know almost every stadium has been upgraded since I was in school in the late aughts but I'm still blown away by how different ole BSFS is since I was in school. #ThanksJohnCurrie
I was absent from the stadium from 1992 to 2017. Now that was mind blowing.

Y'all. He's a foul mouth like the rest of us when making a needed point.

Random EMAW encounter today in Louisville. Don't know if he's a goEMAW poster or not.

We were grabbing coffee and bacon for the post workout breakfast and these beautiful dogs came ripping into Kroger. Called the number on the tags.

Owner rolls up and notices my quarter zip. He's a 2003 grad from our beautiful university.

Anyhow, if you're a poster here, great to meet you today.

(Yes those are Elvis costume shades. I wear them to embarrass my lady.)

Love walking the old golf course this time of the year.

have a newly seeded yard...just picked up one of these babies. I'm too lazy to move the sprinkler many times a day so I'm hoping this will help.

what you want is an in-ground sprinkler system

coming this summer/fall.

also first thing I read in the box was "not recommended for newly seeded lawns"

It's got stuck twice already...mainly due to the slope of the lawn and the placement of the hose. I may need to rework that.
hell yeah man can’t wait to read about how much you love it.

Finally switched to using the tractor now that the grass/weeds are established. Was working pretty well until i burned the gears out the other day :blindfold:  I came out to one of the arms on the ground. Put it back in and now it makes a clicking noise when I assume it should be moving slightly.

Sprinklers are scheduled for installation in the next month.

sprinklers just got in last week   Neighbor has been waiting for weeks too. There are like 10 landscape companies in the MHK area but i feel like there could be a few more.

With a lush lawn next spring, i'm gonna need a riding mower. What does gE recommend? When is the best time to buy?
Note: my handyman ability is pretty lacking so would prefer to go new.

I bought a John Deere rider from home depot prob almost 15 years ago. It was just the basic version. I've never done anything with it besides sharpen the blades. I'm certain it needs an oil change or something but I have no idea. I have replaced the battery once I guess. It just starts up every year so I keep using it.
Ha. Ya, change that oil for another 15 years of service.

If anyone is headed to NOLA this weekend (or ever) I have compiled a list of my favorite places there and am willing to give it out for free.

Post em, I was just there for Tulane and hit my personal highlights. @SkinnyBenny then can school us both.

Staples are obviously Old Absinthe House and Lafitte's. Then I'd say Stanley and Felix's for somewhat well known places. And for ones that are less known I'd say GW Fins, Adolfo's, and Paladar 511. And for a curveball, Coop's Place for fried chicken.

I have no disagreements and now value your opinion more as it's very aligned with my list. Lafitte's is my #1 FQ bar. Felix's always instead of Acme. Never been to Stanley or Adolfo's so I'll check those out. Paladar and GW Fins are great. I'll add in Peche, Antoine's  brunch (get Chuck as your waiter), and Sofia's. So many great food spots. Add in Delachaise and Bacchanal for wine.

Desire has a nice breakfast.

Briquette and Mr Ed's are fantastic dinner choices.

I agree with Felix, too.

Spent some time in Connecticut on a biz trip. Had to make the drive to New Haven for dinner. I was not disappointed. Go early. They line up outside like it's a night club.

Hey yeah, I'll have to remember that the next time I'm in New Haven
Now ya know where to eat.

Small riding mower if the lot is big enough. Barely had to teach the oldest anything about driving. Win win.

Corvettes are for old men with dick problems, Avery should reconsider
Only because most youngsters can't afford a Vette.

I saw two old squawk fans doing the greeting in Breckenridge last week. I followed up with a Go Cats. We all had a laugh and talked about the upcoming football season.

Whenever I see a fellow cat shirt in the wild I say 'eat'em up, eat'em up ksu' and then they say 'eat'em up, eat'em up ksu' and then we hug, high five, and swap shirts after autographing them.
I gave a Go Cats on Quandary and only received an EMAW.
