I'm already rocking the Sapphire Reserve, the Chase business card, and the freedom unlimited. Is there a better option for my next card then the Marriott card with 100,000 sign up points? I don't travel enough to have/be working towards any airline status. Same for hotels. This seems like a good starting option for hotels though. What say you gE?

Calling for any and all California pro-tips!

I have recently been gifted Knicks tickets to games on Sunday Jan 21st at the Lakers and Tuesday the 23rd at the Warriors. I have never been to California before and have no idea what to expect this time of the year. All I've been told is to spend as much of the trip in LA and as little time as possible in Oakland. I have plenty of UR points and bigdavefreemawgf has plenty of SPG points so the sky is the limit. Plan is to land in LA either Thursday or Friday, and fly out of Oakland/San Fran on Wednesday after the game. I have a friend who lives in Long Beach so one or two evenings will most likely be spent there.

1. Nappa/wine valley. Is it too cold that time of the year?
2. Rent a car and drive along highway 1 and take the scenic route? Or catch a flight between LA and San Fran/Oakland?
3. Golden Gate Bridge?
4. Lots of other cool options I haven't even considered?

My dad introduced be to LHC Bill Snyder was at the SC Fry when I was in 4th grade.

cas4ksu: (in my mind) "Oh my god how does he know?"  (actual words) "Yes! I love the Cats!"

LHC Bill Snyder: "Well that's great, remember to try hard in school and maintain that 4.0 GPA your father was telling me about."

Went home and finished reading a Matt Christopher book, next day took the A.R. test and got a 100 PERCENT!

Was met with, " Ksu is still not the most talented team in Kansas"

I reply with, "talented enough to be one of the best 16 teams in the nation"

"Ku was the most talented team in the nation. BY FAR ! ! ! ! "

"Not talented enough to be one of the best 16 teams in the nation. Butler and Saint Mary's were though, fyi"
