Two weeks ago from today I attended my first concert which was a Boyz II Men concert (please don't judge- they were a great musical talent in the mid-90's). One might say the concert was hunky dory as I enjoyed it even though I feel they attract to the female population. I will admit I felt very awkward and uncomfortable being surrounded by hundreds of screaming girls (let's be honest, I'm awkward around girls whenever and wherever) melting over three guys singing love songs and dancing seductively. It had the feel of a middle school dance but with most of the girls being 30 years removed from middle school. They revealed the middle school girl within them as they scurried to the stage as the group performed I'll Make Love to You and tossed roses out to several lucky girls. Meanwhile, the 40 guys who were at the concert sat in the back, embarrassed at the fact their spouses/girlfriends were drooling over these strangers instead of them. I, however, was not embarrassed at the fact I was there. I actually stayed after the concert in hopes to take a picture with the group. My sister works at the theater in which the concert was held so I was fortunate enough to have the hook-up, and I sat in the front of the line waiting for the group to greet their biggest fans (I might have been the only guy waiting in line to meet the group).

I've seen his type before. Gay but deeply in denial. He justifies it by beating his bible and spouting morality, and insisting that one day he will meet that one special lady that he will spend the rest of his life with. Except that day won't come, and that lady won't come, and he'll be miserable until he comes to grips with the fact that he wants to eff guys. Or maybe one special guy, forever and ever. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Or maybe he'll be wracked with self-loathing over his supposed "sinfulness" and just kill himself.

Anyway, Jake was right, the dude's a virgin.

Ha, I know this guy. Played basketball for Larned High School and Barton County the past 2 years. He's actually pretty damn good at basketball, but who knows, he's probably gay.
