There won’t be a coup. Another stone lock down prediction - I’m batting 1.000https://www.bbc.com/news/63708313
Agree! And I’d add All I Need, Bourne, and Silver Rising to that list.Goose on Tuesday the 11th at Midland!I am really working hard to guard against being let down if they don't play Hungersite or Dripfield.

Hungersite is one of the best songs in recent memory.I'm only into the second song of Goose's 2023 live album and I'm hooked. Solid.I think I would have liked both the Killers and Fallout boy if I had listened to them when they first came out. I acknowledge that it's good music. However, I missed them both. I have only listened to one band that has come out since 2000 and that's Billy Strings.
I’ve added two more “new” bands to my list, which is a very significant thing for me. Goose and Eggy. They are the two best jam bands I’ve heard outside of The Dead (and their offshoots) Billy Strings. Hod damn they are both good. Only listen to their live albums or you aren’t listening to them at their best.
Finished the first episode of this doc about "The Troubles" in Northern Ireland last night. I went into it with zero knowledge of the subject outside of listening to "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" by U2 and watching the movie Belfast. Very good so farSame. I fell down a rabbit hole after watching this (probably for the wiki thread). Check out I, Delours, centered on the lady who help kidnap the mother of 10 and more from the republican point of view. The actual footage is from interviews she gave to a BC prof as part of a project.

Was this Friday? Not to brag or anything but it is in fact the best outdoor venue outside of maybe the Hollywood Bowl but this is probably better
A storm in the distance at a Red Rocks concert is a pretty incredible outdoor venue experience.
I’ve recently discovered Americana/country/blue grassCouple other good one's to check out in that vein -- Arlo McKinley & Tyler Childers
Sturgil Simpson/Zach Bryan etc.
Always liked Waylon Jennings, Willie, Merle haggard

Is there like a Portal master list somewhere?https://www.on3.com/transfer-portal/top/basketball/2023/
Watkins Glenn seemed central to a lot of the hiking and waterfalls. Also, found a cheap cabin (but googled the owner and he recently resigned as mayor due to multiple sexual harassment allegationsGoing to Buffalo for a concert late June. May go to the Finger Lakes region for a few days, was thinking Watkins Glenn area. Any tip or advice are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why Watkins Glen? It is pretty there but there are finger lakes/upstate areas that are just as pretty but not as far away. As someone who's made that drive more than I care for, it's a really long way away. It's not one of those drives that says it will take 2.5 hours but you can do it in 2, it's going to take every bit of that 2.5: and probably more because you'll get stuck behind a slow ass pickup on one of the impassable two lane highways. If you're set on going that far away from Buffalo, just go to Ithaca, it's the same distance, same beauty, more stuff to do, more restaurants and bars.
It is a random destination. We go see My Morning Jacket fairly often and like to pick a part of the country we haven’t been. Definitely doing Niagara Falls. the basket team stayed there at one point in timeHam Strickland once tried to throw me over the 3rd floor railing.
FYI The War on Drugs at Redrocks was as epic as it sounds.I have seen them 3x this year, they were amazing each time, but unfortunately not the Red Rocks show. Hopefully next time.
