The state’s HB 302 bill, signed by Governor Kelly Ayotte, enables the state treasurer to invest public funds in precious metals and digital assets with a market cap over $500 billion — a threshold currently met only by Bitcoin. The law enables the state’s treasurer to use 10% of the state’s general fund and other authorized funds to invest.

I didn't read all the other reserve bills floating around the more than dozen other states with proposed digital asset reserve legislation, but IMO the above details to be inclusionary of metals and exclusionary of shitcoins is why New Hampshire got their bill passed first.

exactly.  lawrence has all the chains and many duplicates.  It is a lot like olathe

olathe has expanded so far west that they’re essentially sharing a border and it won’t be long until o-town annexes lawrence

Eh, I think Larrytown-Eudora-De Soto are almost all touching but Olathe isn't far behind to grow into all of it

Not for the kind of food I want, aint' no good places to get even vaguely decent chicken alfredo anymore that isn't downtown and getting a parking spot downtown is a right bitch. We lost paisanos, we lost applebees, the inbred hicks who loved paisanos chased olive garden out before it could even set up shop.

There ain't no italian anywhere.

lol @ chicken Alfredo and no doubt they are in a food desert of mediocrity, but I’m pretty sure The Basil Leaf Cafe is still open, and it’s legit good IMO. If no one in that Reddit thread mentioned them, then that’s a partial indicator of why they don’t deserve nice things.

A senate bill introduced earlier this month would authorize the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS) to use the Kansas public employees retirement fund to buy bitcoin.

Kansas Republican Senator Craig Bowser introduced Senate Bill 34 on Jan. 16 which would establish a KPERS board of trustees who will manage the bitcoin investing. The board of trustees would be authorized to spend up to 10% of the money in the state retirement fund on bitcoin exchange-traded products.

This team has other issues, but this is by far and away the biggest one. Things will obviously not get better until he is removed.
