So Spivey commits to Zona, the a safety from Zona commits to us. Guess we’re just doing trades in college football now
I don't know...this portal thing is really starting to make college athletics not as fun. I'm having a hard time getting attached to athletes like I would in the past because my brain tells me they won't be around long. It seems impossible for coaches to create a positive locker room environment when half or more of your team turns over every year. I keep hearing if kids don't get playing time or NIL $ they expect they become pain in the ass all season. Most of these kids bitching about NIL money haven't performed to deserve it and end up entering the portal to find more money and still don't perform and deserve it. A lot of these players don't develop like they should because they bounce around. Kids don't want to stay at a program to accept the development. The best QB in the league is a kid that was no longer wanted at a major program because they had to ensure their freshman blue chip started. The freshman ended up sucking, program had its worst record in 20 years, and the QB that got forced out is probably going to play for a National Championship. It's a rough ridin' mess. Add in the ESPN/SEC/big 10 love affair and it's really killing my interest.
Who did we get from tOSU?
NGL feel pretty horned up having xfrs from tOSU, Bama, OU, USC, Nubbs, and Zona. BC and Purdue are nice too

If football was like algebra then yes, we are definitely going to be better. But as we all know, football is more like chemistry. Will any of these guys bring the “it” factor? Act as a catalyst so to speak? Time will tell!

in the end, EMAW will always win.
Defense transfer portal 'cruitin has been really good. Offense at least they kept most the existing good players.

Defense needed an injection of talent, especially in the secondary, and the strategy there sure seems to be geared more towards bringing in high potential players.to;dr- Offense already has its stars, needed role players and got them. Defense needs potential stars and got potential stars

Jackson and Ervin split the rest of the carries
To clarify I predict Edwards has the most total touches (receptions and carries). I think he also leads the RBs in carries, but only because I think the more inside runs are handled by committee. I think the total carries by the other RBs combined is equal or greater than the number of carries Edwards gets.
