Hell, I'll go ahead and say I'm thankful to the state of KS for not minding me driving with my cruise control on 120 mph on 1-70 on Sunday on my way to Winter Park to ski.  I-70 is THE most boring stretch of American highway despite the wind turbines you've installed.

BTW, I'm driving back through your god forbidden state on I-70 and south on I-35 on 12/22 and I hope you are just as cordial to my speed as the scenery in your state sucks ass.

you will drive past my house.  If you stop for a bathroom break, never mind the screams you hear coming from the basement.

You know another great attraction that I had forgot is the house where the BTK killer grew up.  That was Kansas.  Do they sell t-shirts?

Now I would pay good money to have a shirt with the BTK cereal killer and the Cawker City Twine Ball together!  I would pay twice the price if one of you could get it.

My Father was a teacher at the Uni and had Dennis Rader in his class. He still has the yearbook with a young (20something) Dennis Rader in it. This was just a few years before the Otero family was massacred by that creep, and that knowledge gives Dennis Rader a sickly twinkle in his eye.  After Rader was caught, I saw other copies of the same Yearbook going on eBay for several hundred dollars.  What kind of sick eff wants to pay hundreds of dollars for a serial killer's yearbook?  Oh, I did notice that most of the bidders had names like SueEPig, RazorbackReacharaound, and SquealLikePigs.

Staying at the Adolphus myself.  The mrs. reserved a room in early November as we both had a gut feeling it would be Cotton no matter how K-State's season turned out. 

I'll provide more details as far as where we'll be parking, our room number, and our seats so Jeffy can be ready with his camera.

Manhattan is one of many Kansas cities that shares its name with a city in New York, largely due to the settlers who moved here and established settlements.  We also have a Syracuse, Osawatomie, etc.

My Arkansas Brethren have apparently found the "bold" function on this forum.  

As tame as Hogville is compared to this site, when Razorback fans invade another forum, it is full on crazy.  Most come over and are downright stupid and intentionally play up the Arkansas stereotype, it is called a setup, so you talk down to us and drop bombs, whereas they will make you eat crow and (all of the sudden) be extremely articulate and intelligent when collecting said crow.. The worst part of your invitation to us, wasn't that we will be here until January 6th.... it is that we'll be here for years.
Don't believe us?  Ask Ole Miss fans, Ohio State Fans, Eastern Carolina fans.

Kansas State is actually the first half's surprise team, but I'll go with them here. LHC LHC Bill Snyder is leading a second revival in the Little Apple. K-State won't remain unbeaten -- after Kansas comes Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. But don't be surprised if Snyder's bunch pulls a big upset, and then keeps rolling.
