I'd constantly talk about traffic and how there isn't any "real traffic" in the Midwest unless there's a combine blocking the road.

And then you would be forced to begin a minimum 30 minute conversation about what a combine is and why it would be on any road.

Last year at Tech was pretty bad and felt about the same as last night.  

I know Tech threw many more passes but it was their second string qb and let's face it tech passing is like nu running... you know it's coming.  Of course we were at home last night.

Sorry Ben, but every KU student that I know personally has told me that they like our stadium ten times more than Memorial. Try again.

Funny... I had several K-State friends in town for a football game a year or two ago, and they said that Memorial's game day atmosphere absolutely blew Manhattan's out of the water.  Take the track out of Memorial and complete the Gridiron Club, and it won't even be close.

That is just how we grew up saying them, that is how our parents said it, that is how their parents said it.  All those thing are also something you may not understand, but they're something that we hicks have joy in and are glad we do not say and do things the same as the city folk.

fwiw, my dad and grandparents say "wursh/warsh", another grandpa says crick, dad says things like "youman" instead of human, and I don't say them.  Guess I'm able to use my own brain though....

I live in a metro area with a population of about 4 mil... never have the opportunity to use my cruise control unless I am driving out of town (vacation).  Maybe move in to town or something and you won't have to deal with it very often.

Would be in favor of a sales tax increase for a dumbasses only lane, however.    <-- 'cept with no dumbasses
