Imagine Charlie giving examples of routes by running them himself.

I expect us to struggle a bit early in the year because we will be behind most southern teams from not being able to practice outdoors. Come conference play, I think we will have caught up and will be better than every other big 12 team.

Did you guys here the commentator call you all the Bobcats! lol

Didn't hear that, but I did hear him say that he was surprised that Staten averaged as many assists as he does even though he's only 6ft tall.

I have an A+ source that says that there will be two north video boards, and both will be "HUGE". Don't know exactly what my source considers huge though.

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Re: Horns

my main concern is road refs just screwing the ever-loving crap out of K-State.   I still remember Frank's last trip down there, 33 to 16 on fouls.

I remember that game well. The first half went well, the game was being called even and we had a decent lead at halftime. Then in the second, we got whistled for any contact at all while they were still allowed to mug Angel and Rodney all over the court. We didn't have a chance in that game with the way it was officiated.

The good news this year is that preseason rankings mean much less than they ever have before. Win the Big 12, we'll have a shot at the NC.

Not to be a killjoy but I doubt we would have been picked in '12, Baylor certainly wouldn't have been picked in '13 and OSU wasn't a certainty in '11

OSU would've been picked in '11, they barely fell short of the title game as it was that year. You are right about the other two though.

So I guess you guys already know everything about the kid?

It's an outlandish comment.

Just saying what I heard from someone who knows him at school, I'll just drop it now.

I would be A LOT sadder if we didnt land delton than if sharp flipped.  And I like sharp a lot.

Would you be okay with Willis?
Yes, but want Delton badly as well.  Willis sounds like an good chance of coming to KSU, loves coaches I believe.  A source.  Both would have a ton of success here.  Love Willis's arm.  Would love yo have those two in a qb battle.

I'm not sure what I think of Willis. From what I heard he's not really a team player. Apparently he wanted his team to lose when he was injured so that it would prove he was that important to the team. Maybe his attitude would change in college but who knows.

Kansas State Football / Re: Auburn 2014/KSU squad of 2014

Our D SUCKS, so it can only get better.  We've got the #9 JC recruit coming in at DE.  The #12 JC recruit coming in at DT.  The #16 JC recruit coming in at DB.  The #2 LB in the country, Tre Williams (#24 overall), and tons of DTs and DBs, where we need lots of help.

Our left tackle also is going pro, should be a first rounder.  However, the rest of the line is back, along with 2, 600+yard rushers and Marshall at qb, who ran for over 1,000.  Did I mention Racean Thomas?  He hasn't signed yet, but has committed.  He's a 5 star back from Alabama.  #2 RB in the country, #12 recruit in the nation overall.  I think our running game will be ok...

As for WRs, Sammy Coates will be back and he's a friggin beast.  D'haquille Williams is an incoming 5 star JC WR from Mississippi.  He's the #1 JC recruit in the nation.  He's signed.

Your stud DE will have a field day with us, along with your WR, but our offense may be hard for you to stop.  Our O-line is GOOD.

How do you pronounce this?

The 3pt defense will even out in the two games against Iowa State, they just never miss.

These North Dakota State fans remind me a lot of Iowa State fans.  Of course NDSU has actually won something at their own little level but both groups are just dead sure they are better then you despite it being obvious that they are not.  Every single NDSU fan is picking them to beat KSU and every single ISU fan picks them to beat KSU every year.  I mean even Ron Prince had a winning record against Iowa State.

might just be a mid major thing.  My dad is a WSU alum and total homer, and he truly believes that WSU could and would beat the Cats year in year out, and reminds me how lucky we are that we are too scared to schedule them.  I get that vibe a lot from sports fans i know who went to mid major or FCS schools, regardless of the sport.

I was in New York a week ago wearing a K-State shirt, and some random guy came up to me and asked why we were scared to play the Shockers. It seems that is the only smack that WSU fans have when talking to Cat fans.
