A&M was able to parlay their brief romance with the SEC into a full revenue share.  I don't give a shazbot!.  We're still makin g a ton more than we would have been if A&M had left and set the dominos in motion again.

Would have loved to have been at the meeting...

Sorry if this has been covered already, but I had to take a break from the board last night after that marathon thread.  Does anybody know when the new league officially kicks off?  Does Colorado leave after this season now, too, or do they still stick around for one year of 11 teams?  I really want to see this round robin schedule put in place as soon as possible.  Do we lose out on any money if we tell them to f off a year early?  Or are these all things being worked out along with the new tv deal?

Best case scenario:  Keep the Big12 together long enough to get the new facility up and running in Manhattan.  When there is talk of reallignment in another five years we leak information that KSU is leaning towards releasing a few viruses to wipe out all of the livestock in North America unless a power conference picks us up.

Someone should prob start working on geting security clearance now in case this option becomes reality.  Really need to be proactive on this one.

So if the Big12 stays together, how does all this impact our recruiting going forward?  Is the conference going to be constantly viewed as on the brink of destruction, so recruits won't want to sign with one of the five loser schools?  Or will the conference be stronger than ever with more $$ and a satisified TX?  Would adding a couple schools improve the stability of the conference?  Any feel on whether or not TX wants to add schools to the remaining 10?

Worst part is that even if the conference stays together, KSU basically can't do crap to help it's cause in future reallignment talk.  Will forever be   anytime someone mentions a possible Big(?) implosion.  Are we going to magically put together an elite football program in the next few years?  Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping more than anything that this thing sticks together.  Just sucks getting reminded of our place in the grand scheme of things...

I made my donation tonight as well, but afterwards I was wondering to myself if I should have cut it in half and donated the other portion to the Ahearn Fund.  We're not talking big bucks here, but I care more about KSU athletics than the college of business.

That always goes through my mind anytime I'm about to donate to something.  Luckily Ahearn always wins.

These kids did come to the door and pressure me out of $5 for Haiti the other day though.  Sorry K-State 

Pfffffft.  You bought that?  More like they pressured you out of $5, then ran down the street and bought a footlooooooooooooooong.  Haiti.

Would love that bracket.  I hope (HOPE) KSU goes into the postseason ready to play every game.  When they play hard they are better than every team in the league with the exception of KU, IMO.  I think they take the OSU game by 10-15.  Not 100% convinced Colorado wouldn't pull the upset first.  2 seed would be huge to avoid KU until the final.  

Would you rather have a Big12 tourney championship or a Sweet16 appearance?  Hard to say.  At this point I expect the Cats to make the Sweet16 or deeper.  I'd be pleasantly surprised by a conference torney championship.

Well pardon me for not knowing how the f the ivy league schedules their games.  Don't usually follow any teams in that league.  Just happened to see them on the scorecenter checking out top25 games today.  I obviously have LBBIQ for not knowing how the powerhouse ivy league works.   Douche.
