Generally speaking, are players with hyphenated last names even that good?  Asking for a friend.

Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, UCLA, Arizona, Michigan State...  man this is shaping up to be a fantastic Sweet 16.

I have 3 extras for any KC Plaza Catz. TY super stud cousin @Testy_Westy

In the spirit of Testy Westy, it'd be nice if you could mail them to me in Topeka...

We need these two riding a roller coaster or running with the bulls.

Rock Chalk?

I don't think you understand the game.  Think BIG.  Not great basketball + shitty football.

I'm really thinking of going the t-shirt fan route.  There are so many great programs out there...  It's like browsing the multi-million dollar homes online and thinking 'Oh yeah, if I won the lottery I'd buy THAT one'.  I think I have it down to four finalists:  Texas, Florida, Michigan State, and (dark horse) West Virginia.  Considered Ohio State and Wisconsin, but just can't do it.  Who is the best choice of the four?  Or am I missing any other obvious candidates?  Things to consider:

Future success in football
Future success in basketball
Televison coverage in Topeka
Message board environment (I don't post much, but like to browse)

Just when I thought I was over it...   :bawl:  They really know how to hit you where it counts.

This guy.  Also, I just went through their roster on their athletics website trying to find the guy... lol at them saying they're not mormon.

no other kstate fans. tons of ucsb fans that were totally feeling an upset. we tried to cheer for them but they are just horrid. they eventually cheered for the cats. actually met a real life stans sports fan that despises his own fan base. knew about sproles/snyder. was thrilled beyond belief to meet actual sports fanatics.

three things these guys know about kstate

1)pullen
2)pullen's bear
3)our crazy coach

"wait...you guys are cheering for kstate? wtf are you doing here?"

classic.

I HAVE to hear this story.

Anyone get a screenshot of the USU pig boy going apeshit? Right before the 3 minute timeout.  Worse than Page.

Nothing I love more about the month of March than talking/watching academics.  If I had a dollar for every time I heard Dikie V say 'That's a Big Time GPA, BABY!!!' I'd be  :bracketmouse: all the way to the bank.  Love watching me some March Academic Madness!

Seriously, though, sucks to be a Buffs fan right now.  In less than 24 hours you go from being pumped about the tourney, ready to bitch if you get stuck in the play-in game.... to arguing on another fan base's message board about academics.   :frown:

The boy with an iron will!  Iron Will!!!

Imagine a picture of the Iron Will movie cover if you wish.  Then someone else can imagine photoshopping it with Sprads' face.  I feel I've done enough.

So anyway... Not a torn Achilles, just a foot injury.  Out about a week.  Will he play on Monday (yadnomnoyalpehlliw)?

You think Auburn fans are shitting themselves right now?  If KSU had landed Newton  we'd be all  :blah: :jerk: on the outside, but inside I'd be  :ohno: :goodbyecruelworld:

This actually does make him look much younger.

Dunno.  Kind of gives me a "No Country For Old Men" vibe.

Is that badass in the stands with his arms folded across his chest a relative of Steve Dave?

That pumpkin looks like oscar Pearl, but it could just be that it is orange. :dunno:

Thought the same thing.  Why is it that every time someone trys to paint/carve a likeness of Martin it ends up looking like Pearl?

May change my mind when I see the pic of it glowing.

Clearly the KSU Katz would go no worse that 12-12 vs the bottom half of the NBA.  We're talking about the BOTTOM half fuckfaces.  I'd put money that they'd win 60-70% of those games.  I think a better question is how well the Katz bball team would fare against the bottom half of the NFL in some American football contests.  I say they'd win a solid third of the games.  There is a clear disadvantage in the Katz players having to play both offense and defense... iron man football if you will.  KSU is really good at defense, though.  And Greenwald is really badass and stuff so I think they are conditioned for it.  I heard KSU got some big stud player from Florida State... Freddy Astrillo.  He is REALLY big, so I'm sure he'd be good at football.  Also, it helps to have a tall guy play quarterback, and we have a lot of those on the bball team.  If Denny Clemint was still on the team I'd say the Kats would win more like 50% of the games because he is really fast.

My friend inside the university communication dept at uk has informed me that maintenance has been asked to remove the signs at memorial stadium for the "turner grill" concession stands.

Good concept.  Other schools need to do this.  Imagine Art's Flame Brile'd Burgers or Bo Pelini's Coney Style Weenies.

Fantastic.  Sometimes it's the little things, you know?

Her lawyer is incompetent, too.  It was clearly an accident when "Dunn did indeed punch his client in the face one time after she got up in his face arguing."  She should sue the hell out of her own lawyer for reporting those lies.

Seriously, though.  How many times will the story change, and who do they think will believe these altered versions?  Regardless of whether the charges get dropped, the story has pretty much been laid out there by the police, victim (at times), her attorney, etc.  What does Drew do if the charges get dropped?  Tricky situation.  If they go the "It was an accident, there was no intended physical harm" route, then they really can't suspend him for any games.  After all, it was just an accident.  The backlash from that would be great.  If they admit that he punched her on purpose (hard enough to fracture her jaw in two places) it seems the suspension would have to be for more than just a couple games.  Suspended for non-con?  I dunno.  It almost seems like it has to be no suspension or a major suspension.   :dunno:

Quote
Edwards' lawyer, Jason Darling, said the victim and her family were "extremely disappointed" at the felony charge against Dunn. Darling said his client did not want to pursue charges and plans to file an affidavit of non-prosecution in an attempt to get the charges dismissed.

Darling acknowledged that Dunn did indeed punch his client in the face one time after "she got up in his face arguing."

Darling said he believed the case merited nothing more than a misdemeanor charge against Dunn based on the injuries his client sustained. He said she suffered "two minor fractures in her jaw" that were treated with "minor day surgery." He said there was minor swelling and that her jaw was not wired shut, and reports of loose or missing teeth were inaccurate.

:surprised:  (still like this one best)

Not sure what to make of this CJ comment.  Are they saying people who bleed crimson and blue are prone to bloody stools?

Maybe they need cotton uniforms.  I hear they breathe better.   :dunno:

When could this realistically be completed?  How long does it take to build a facility like this once they actually break ground?  A year?  More?  Less?  I have no clue.
