UCA is a pretty solid FCS team. They had the #1 rushing defense in FCS last year and have played damn good games against Colorado (38-24) and Texas Tech (42-35) in recent years. They also beat Sun Belt co-champ Arkansas State last year. But you guys are much better than those teams were lol.

It may be a good game for a half but KSU should run away with it in the second half

You know what else arkansas people have in store for themselves courtesy of me? A shitload of vandalism on their cars and trucks and RVs. I'm very good at it. And even better at not getting caught. First big AR RV trailer home I see is going to get a beautiful photo-realistic set of purple nuts with a giant sized wang all down the side. It's going to be a masterpiece of purple spray paint A+ vandalism. Go Cats.

FIFY...

My buddies and I are just going to hang out at Three Pigs Barbeque all weekend and order pork burned ends for all the tables of AK fans. We'll then head over to the Peabody Hotel and push all the floor buttons on the elevator. Should be epic and really mess with their psyche!  :ksu:

You don't have a national championship, I thought this was already discussed

We do. You just refuse to accept it.

Looking at the right side of this page gives the fact.

Our TE is already the best in the NFL. Maybe you heard of Gronk. Dumbass

the best TE in the country
Somebody's colors sure do run.. Our TE plays for the damn Patriots!
Why don't you get your isis TE out of here
That would be the Patriots TE plays for the Patriots...  Your TE plays for KSU.

I'll help you out

So many NFLers and you barely cracked .500 this year

Unfortunately they still made us play with a defense  :dunno:

6
I think this is their first bowl game since 2011, so let them be happy

Yeah our game against that Big 12 team last year shouldn't count it was so lopsided

7

That was really something, I guess. Probably wouldn't make top-five of Cats' punt/kick returns, tho. How come I never heard of this guy? Is he doing things in the bigs or was this just the result of shitty SEC special team play?

He won the Johnny Rodgers award a couple years ago. Was part of the best WR corp in college football during that time but the Vikings' Jarius Wright is the only one to stick in the NFL since Greg Childs blew out both knees lol

8
We play Stanford on the road next year, to open up the season. GET. ON. OUR. LEVEL!

You're right...we've only scheduled teams from crappy conferences for next year like TCU and Louisiana Tech :/

9
not trying to "stir up crap" here, fellas, but was the player that died an african american?  because if so.....,,,,,,.....

No.

Well if theres one team you can beat in a bowl its us. We're terrible in bowl games for whatever reason...I expect us to come out aggresive though...11 wins would be big

CK is a running back that throws so he's definitely not a pure passer.  Unfortunately I've never heard of the other guy though so I voted for CK.

Likewise... I've never heard of anybody good come out of KSwho but you guys might have heard of Darren McFadden? Maybe, Felix Jones? What about Chris Houston? Ryan Mallett, even? That's what I thought...

Sorry, never heard of them either, was too busy watching Alumni set records in the Superbowl.

Right...

Pffft, the Raiders would have secured a playoff spot by now if McFadden wasn't such a FP, TC, etc.

I don't know what FP or TC means but you're right... if it had anything to do with being injury prone

none of those guys play

Chris Houston does... Corner for Atlanta... Unless he's been hurt in the last couple weeks... And besides, just because they aren't currently playing due to injury doesn't mean they're not on a roster...

Chris actually plays for the Lions now and had a pretty good year

Mallett's wonderlic score wasnt that bad...higher than newton and locker

Jason Peters made his 5th pro bowl...any KSU players make it?

I think they are better than UF and vandy but not Georgia. The Arkansas-A&M game still hasnt been finalized whether it's going to be home and home or not yet...we'll have to find a BCS team to replace them anyways. I kinda wish we had Missouri as our permanent east opponent...its a better fit geographically

Kansas State Football / Re: Oregons new Rose Bowl uniforms!!!
« on: December 28, 2011, 04:42:11 AM »
This whole uniform thing was cool for awhile when it first came out, you know - Like the first 3 or 4 seasons. Now it has just become a gimmick and looks frivolously dumb. There is literally nothing associated with UO or Oregon on that uniform outside of the Nike swish.

Football is getting diluted into a fashion show. Luckily these will always reign supreme:

Could one of the knowledgeable Razorback fans tell us here where you stand in all time winning % in the SEC?  And where it ranks relative to other conference members?  Thanks in advance.   :dubious:

Id say since we joined the SEC we're probably somewhere above south carolina and below auburn as a program...but we had 10 years of nutt. We've been to the SEC championship game just one less time than Georgia and Auburn, the big difference is we just havent won it yet...we need to get over that hump before people will take us seriously

Was hoping for an answer between 1 and 12.  Good answer for as far as it went.
these guys aren't too good at using their edumukation. If i went right off the top of my head, I'd say there below Georgia Florida LSU Tennessee BAMA Auburn and maybe Ole miss? 7th or 6th out of 12, and considering the teams below you are Vandy, Mississipi St, Kentucky then it's even more embarrassing.
so you're 6th out of 12.
We're third out of 10 and compmletely own team #2. We've at least won a conference title and should have won another.  We're not the middle of the pack big 12, we're on of the best in the big 12.

Ole Miss

and speaking of education, it's they're...not there

Its hard to be third best when FIVE different teams have won a NC in the last 15 years...thats almost half the conference
Why doesn't the great U of A win one then?

We were cam newton away from getting there last year. If we catch a few breaks we'll get there eventually

But, if I were referring to you I'd tell you the hogs as of right now are about 6th.  Which, considering going through 10yrs of Houston Nutt as head coach is pretty good.  I guess it could be worse.

Translation:  Arkansas fits in the lower to middle portion of the top-heavy SEC, while K-State is towards the top of a balanced Big 12.  Got it.

Im not going to lie, the 90s could have been the worst decade ever for the football program and thats right when we joined the SEC...we've just recently got a coach that is good enough to reach the potential that we have. The other SEC teams have had a lot longer to raise that number up...we're at 47% since we joined the SEC, 59% all-time...which is 7th in the SEC and 29th nationally

You porkers are so annoying.  Last two trips to the Cotton Bowl for Arkansas have been pretty bad.  You guys got beat by MIZZOU for chrissakes!

Congrats, they beat a team coached by reggie herring

LSU beat WVU and Oregon
Alabama beat Penn State
Arkansas beat Texas A&M
Tennessee beat 9-3 Cincinnatti
Vanderbilt crushed 5-3 ACC team Wake Forest
Georgia beat GT
South Carolina beat Clemson

Sure they lost a few too but to act like the SEC hasnt beaten anyone OOC is kinda stupid

Beating Texas A&M is nothing to brag about. They are a 6-6 team that rode on pre-season hype for 4 months. Really hilarious you used Cincy's overall record as some sort of talking point but then decided to only use the conference record for your Wake Forest talking point (another shitty 6-6 team)

All of those other teams except Oregon are garbage. Big East and ACC

Tennesee and Vanderbilt sucked too but they still won...my point was everyone says the bottom of the SEC is just like the bottom of every other conference but apparently they've won more than they lost against equal competetion from other conferences this year

Take a look at these figures for K-State and Arkansas U.

Vs Teams above .500
AU - 2-2 (Lost to Bama by 24, Beat Auburn by 24, Beat SCU by 16, Lost to LSU by 24)
KSU - 4-2 (Beat EKU by 3, Beat Baylor by 1, Beat Mizzou by 7, Lost to OU by 41, Lost to OSU by 7, beat Texas by 4)

Kind of suprised that AU only played 4 teams above .500 in the mighty SEC.  The two teams that they played in the top 5, they got beat by an average of 24.  The one team that K-State played in the top 5, they got beat by 7.  Also, combined records for both teams opponents are: AU - (73-72), KSU - (80-64).

 :moreira:

AU=Auburn
