The Chef was on some food show, so the Chef.

Rusty's was named the best sports bar in Kansas by SI, I accidentally ate there once as a freshman.

Kite's is the best sports bar in America, I've eaten there a few times.

KC barbecue

Grinder's was on some Food Network show a while back I believe, I've had a few slices of pizza there.

Probably the 3 best meals I've ever had were at Thomas Keller's Bouchon Napa and Per Se in NYC and Alan Wong's original location in Oahu.  I've gone to a ton of celebrity/tv chef's places (Emeril/Bobby Flay/Mario Batali/Todd English/Rick Bayless/Tom Colicchio) but they tend to be hit and miss.

French Laundry is very good, but I don't think I would ever go back unless someone else was buying. $400 lunch for 2 is a little indulgent for my taste, but the wife loved it and it was a fantastic overall experience. It's not the best restaurant in the world as many have claimed over the years.

If ever in Sydney, I thought this place was better and a little less expensive - - http://www.tetsuyas.com/ (http://www.tetsuyas.com/)

no.  don't even like the cincinnati style chili.  weird flavor.  based on my conversations with locals and transplants, in order to like it, you pretty much have to grow up eating it.  they also like to throw about a half a pound of shredded cheese on top of the chili spaghetti because they're just disgusting like that.

Next year, end of April, going to Napa for French Laundy for my bros 30th/5 yr anniversary.  If you want to eat there completely awkwardly with people you don't know Rusty, we'll have a private room and they are trying to make sure they have enough to fill it.

Also, plan on eating here: http://incanto.biz/ Would like to do the Head to Tail dinner, but doubt I will be there during that time.  Will do the offal dinner though

Will do the offal dinner though

you are quite the planner. I will think about it. I have no problem with awkwardness, just the price. To make sure you get some ying to go with your yang, I will take you to an Oakland Athletics baseball contest, perhaps on a free parking Tuesday.

My bro/his wife are planning it and afraid it will be impossible to get in a place like that without far out reservations.  As I am not that great of a planner, no idea if I would be there on a Tuesday.  Thinking just a long weekend there then trying to go to Hawaii or something for a week.  We got time to figure it out

I was just joking on the tuesday thing. Seriously, if I knew the cost I will consider it and if I can't make it I can definitely crash your offal meal.

Original OJ's.  I used to live right down the street so I didn't even have to  :driving:.

I always laugh at the twinks that wait in the 45min line.  You can just call it in and walk right up to the front of it.

TACO VIA(only 95th and antioch one counts)

It got rough ridin' bulldozed.

and rebuilt across the street, son.

LTVIQ here. I just had it today for lunch, everyday special, 1 nacho(peppers) 1 taco 1 sancho 4oz cup of peppers(free btw) and a coca cola filled with crushed ice.

I refilled with tea on the way back to the office.

Get a Burrito Bravo

No, Denied. That item does not exist. Do you perhaps mean the burrito platter?

Oh it exists. Had it on Sunday. There are super secret menu items just like Chipotle.

chipotle doesn't have secret menu items.  they have a subway style line of ingredients.  your menu item is only limited by your imagination and those ingredients.  I made nachos once.  NACHOS.

Wings were good not great. My friend and I put our names and numbers on a dollar bill and hung it on the wall when we were 16. When we were 18, we got a call from some girls who were there on their bachelorette party. They were almost thirty. Best part was when we told them how old we were, they told us we should go to Lawrence and party with them anyway.
