I would definitely post a pic of Thomas Robinson alley-oop dunking.
-
I would try to find a pic of Bill Self looking smug and I would post it with the head-to-head record with Frank.
-
Pic of Taylor complaining to the ref right after he pushes off

I'm sure the KU ring will eventually make an appearance.

The way you guys shed off trolls, they have about as much chance bothering you boyz as pecker gnats buzzing Jackie Chang's face. I guess having your ass handed to you in sports for over a century has allowed you guys to perfect the technique.
Bravo

Winning 16 out of the last 21 meetings in THE major sport against your in-state, in the same conference rival is "having your ass handed to you"?
Just because Pig Aggie has no instate competition is no reason to be over here taking it out on us. Go troll an PigAggieState board or something.
-
They have perfected the art of the defense mechanism after getting 44-3'd. It's quite the sight to behold.

When that "defensive mechanism" is winning 16 out of the last 21 meetings in the most important sport, I'd say that was a pretty decent "defense mechanism".
-
4-4 in the last eight, Pad. Plus KU has a 12-1 BCS season to give us comfort. Your 10-3 Cotton Bowl runner up season was your best season in nine years.
-
ku has won 6 conference football games in the last 4 seasons PepperJax . . . it's absolute rock bottom time once again for ku in the only sport that really matters.

Some people are musicians or wordsmiths, some work in oils and clay and create masterpieces. EMAW has perfected taking an ass beating to an art, they're true masters.
-
We finished 8-5 in '08. Ranked top 15 and 5-0 in 09. Really only the last few years have been bad. Still beat a couple bowl teams and competed with some good teams with Gill at the helm. And I love college basketball. March Madness is the best event in all of sports.

No offense, but it's kind of pathetic to pretend like you don't care about basketball after all the sour grapes, meltdowns, fist pumps, and general discussion regarding your basketball program. Football is king when it comes to realignment, but it's not the only sport that matters. You'd feel the same way if K-State went to the Final Four and competed for national titles.
-
Malberry I wish you we're a better poster, it's really hard to follow you. You're the worst, I mean you don't even get it. Atleast beems is fun too banter with, you just have no clue.

LOLZ, you are experts at this not two ways about it. You bust his grapes for tracing back 3 or 4 years, yet you have to go back 70 years in order to brag about the last time you beat the hogs. It's like a century of ass whippins has turned you into a big callus. Bullet proof by God

Hell, that don't bother me none, nobody can stack up with you guys. I was about to inquire into some of the responses to your last embarrassing loss, then it occurred to me, the way crap rolls off you boyz there's no such thing as an embarrassing loss.

Like I said, your guys' best season in nine years was a 10-3 Cotton Bowl runner-up appearance. You don't sign top 10 recruiting classes. You don't win national titles. You don't even really go to BCS Bowls. You're a mid-tier program that overachieves. You also play boring football and have a 72 year-old coach. It doesn't really bother me at all. I wouldn't give up what KU has in men's basketball for your little overachieving football program if someone put a gun to my head. You guys just don't know what it's like to win national titles and go to Final Fours. You are... K-State.

Figures above are as of 2010.
And KU just had its worse year in football in a decade, and still came out with more total athletic revenue than K-State. Our deals with adidas, ING, ESPN, etc. put us way ahead of you guys. When football revenue is up, KU ranks near the top 10 in the country in total athletic budgets.

You can thank the defense mechanism that desperately needed to bring football into a discussion on a basketball board. A defense mechanism that argues from the subconscious depths of its butthurt soul that basketball "doesn't matter."

Wow, K-State 8 times more net profitable than ku in FY 2011.
You could tell that Cheyenne Zulu was sweating out FY 2012 when he was on BITB awhile back, cut backs in travel, expenses and "Hoping" (Direct Quote) to break even in FY 2012.

No Big 12 Trophies Beems/PepperJaxPhog/OH . . . we've already told you a million times ku basketball is good, it's just that ku pretty much sucks in everything else including the most important sport of all . . . with just 6 conference wins in 4 seasons.
2010-2011 Learfield Sports Directors Cup Standings:
8. A&M
10. OU
12. Texas
32. OsU
35. Baylor
41. Missouri
48. Texas Tech
58. KSU
60. Iowa State
72. ku
Damn, and ku even has more sports than K-State.

Is this the basketball board or the football board? Pretty sure KU has seven straight Big 12 titles. When you start bragging about one Big 12 title and a Cotton Bowl appearance in the last 10 years, you might as well just wave the white flag. The best coach in K-State history has one Big 12 title. Let that sink in for a second.

A.R. Kennedy. Jack Mitchell. Pepper Rodgers. Glen Mason. KU has been to three Orange Bowls and holds a 65-39 series lead against K-State, so I'm not quite sure why you guys are even bringing up football. Outside of one coach, you have arguably the worst Division 1 football program of all-time. No 12-win seasons. No BCS Bowl victories. No NFL hall of famers. One good coach, one Big 12 title, and a bunch of wins against mediocre teams. Awesome.
And I guess this is the football board after all.
:flush:

Most talking points in one post ever? Amazing.

They coached before 1991. Easy mistake considering K-State football didn't really begin until LHC Bill Snyder took over.

love this argument

So Pepper Rodgers had a career 20-22 record at KU, I guess I see why he would be in consideration for greatest coach of all time.

Led KU to a 9-2 Orange Bowl season in '68 and then took a job at UCLA. His career record was 73-65.

Followed up that 9-2 season with a 1-9 season, then another below .500 season, then left KU with a below .500 record overall, and apparently the title of greatest KU coach of all time.

Say "endowment" a whole bunch

I didn't say he was the greatest KU coach of all-time.

Can you imagine how fantastic it would be around here if we had a beems poster from every school come over here and meltdown every time they beat us

bigwillie20, I'm not sure what happened to you during the KU game, but I've really liked your posts ever since.

Clownsuiting poster after poster is now synonymous with meltdown. The defense mechanisms are on overdrive after 44-3. This is great stuff.

A clownsuit is a clownsuit any way you slice it. You can't label everything a "meltdown" just because you're all getting owned like $2 whores.
