By my count this is 2 games this year where the AD instructed the fans what to wear to an away game.  Such a bizarre culture up there.  And why again are Nebraska fans assumed to be the object of Penn St's wrath?  The inflated view of themselves as a fanbase is too weird to be true sometimes.

Your uncle is like every other NU fan.  They got their asses kicked in that game thus the PSU fans were terrible.  Had NU won they would have had nothing but good things to say about the fans.

One of the problems the Big Red T-Shirt Horde has is that the go into these college towns and act like they own the place and lip off at every opportunity.   Then when they get it all shoved back into their face, they whine about it.

Nebraska season-ticket holder Jeff "Rocky" Sisel of Arlington, Va., who travels the country following the Huskers, said safety concerns won't stop him from attending the game.

He said he was at the Huskers' previous game at Penn State, a 40-7 loss in 2002, and he and other Nebraska fans were treated rudely. Sisel said Nittany Lions fans had a vendetta against the Huskers, who were voted national champion over unbeaten Penn State in 1994.

As always, ___insert team name that have the audacity to beat Nebraska____ have the rudest and most classless fans ever.

Actually, you also have the choice of a bowl cut or military buzz cut (with or with rat tail).

Nebrasks IS harsh on lawbreakers.  Eric Martin will NOT be allowed to participate in some team activities in Orlando.  This board judges the Huskers very harshly.

But he will be allowed to play in the bowl game.

Pfft, those DUI laws are outdated anyway.

Quote
Authorities said his blood-alcohol level measured 0.103 percent after his arrest, above the state's legal limit of 0.08 percent for drivers.

Chief assistant city attorney John McQuinn wouldn't say why he's charging Caputo with reckless driving instead of DUI. He said Caputo is not getting preferential treatment because he's a Nebraska football player. His arraignment is scheduled for Thursday.

Name that former Husker

See if you can name the former Husker from their arrest record and subsequent football punishment.  First Up:

8 arrests and 4 convictions including:
-Sexual Assault (Grabbing a former Miss Nebraska's crotch in a crowded bar and yelling obscenities telling her how much she liked it)
-The rape of the same woman twice over 2 nights (including the 2nd night when he forced his way through dorm security to her dorm room while 2 other players stood guard)
-Grabbing a woman by the throat
-Threatening to kill a parking attendant
-Trespassing
-Public Urination
-Refusing to Comply with a Police Officer
-Illegal Possession of Alcohol
-Failure to Appear In Court

Total Football Punishment:
Suspended for a Spring Game.

A Peters bro, idk which one

Christian Peter...He was also inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Meh, sounds like a series of misunderstandings

Agree 100% - bad things happen to good people

Great story re: Christian Peter

So, which do you guys think was worse, when K-State almost ripped Eric's Head off, or when Taylor got thrown to the ground by that dirty Wisc. player? I tell you what, I get more and more pissed when I think about that non call the other night after they threw the flag on Bell. I can almost take a pounding, like Texas Tech did to us, or what Colorado did in 2001, or Oklahoma in 2008, even Ohio State this year. Yet, I don't remember dirty plays from those games, we just got beat. Then again, I also don't like coaches like Meyer going for TD's when the game is in hand, or the Wisconsin coach calling for a review of a play when up by 50. Believe me, I know what arrogant coaches are all about, I have had to watch Lane Kiffin out here in So Cal for years...

Be great to see someone remind them in that thread that K-State just won their second conference championship since Nebraska won their last.

Steve Pederson on firing Solich right after K-State beat Nebraska at home: "We're not going to surrender the Big 12 to Oklahoma and Texas." That entire organization has so much K-State butthurt, it's fantastic. It's too bad that Prince derped things up against them.

It has to just eat them up that they always crap the bed against Texas, yet we are only one more win away from undefeated against them for an entire decade.

Screw those guys they are irrelevant now in college footballl.   Just another big 10 rummy like Purdue or Michigan State or whoever.  They were lucky as hell to get to the title game and the outcome proved they really didn't belong.   I can't even think of the last time they were in a decent bowl game I mean KU at least has a fairly recent Orange Bowl NU hasn't done squat since the 90's.

I really enjoyed that their final game ever as a member of the Big 12 was a loss to Washington in a rematch at the Holiday Bowl
