Am I wrong in thinking one of the greatest values of continuing the B12 is having a conference that is geographically headquartered/centered in the old B8 footprint? I know we lost a lot of that with the early B12 concessions to Texas.

I’d love to see the headquarters move back to KC

This is where I am as well. I'm not opposed anymore to a new B12 with smaller conference members, and I'm actually thinking it may end up being more fun with OU and UT out of the picture. However, I don't see an immediate need to add right now. I feel like a lot of people are trying to make a final decision during the flop instead of waiting for the turn or the river.

You would have a 2 game hole in your schedule that could only be filled by cream puffs. It would kill your SOS and virtually eliminate any of the 8 teams from being considered for the playoff.
