Was given Kindle for xmas. Use the crap out of it.

Bought a lower-end android tablet two months ago. collects dust.

Kindle's are better than both regular books and nooks, and ipads for reading.
Nooks and Ipads are better for everything else, including comics and books with colorful pictures. They are also better for textbooks than kindles.
Regular paper books are best for textbooks, and books featuring lots of colorful.

Basically the stuff that nook is better than kindle at paperbooks are better than nook at.

I read on my kindle every day

I read my nook every day, and most days, my phone's nook app as well.

Nooks are good for parents due to the interactive children's books. That was one of the biggest things for me.

Also, it's kind of nice to have a device that, when I'm wanting to take a break from reading, I can just hop online and play some chess, sudoku, check my email, facebook, etc., and then hop right back into my book.

I already had one order cancelled by hp.com. Tried a second time, but expecting it to be cancelled as well.

Every store I visited during lunch had signs up saying they were sold out of touchpads. I really wish I had not been off the grid this weekend.

Yours and everyone else's who ordered through them, it seems. Got a shipping e-mail from CompUSA this morning. Will believe it when I'm surfing goEMAW tablet-style.

If I wind up getting the HP one as well I'll post it up here for YLA or whoever. I ordered the 32 GB one.

Yeah, a guy was on 980 yesterday was saying that there are several site that were listing a large stock but hadn't yet dropped their price from the orig.
