You guys are overreaching on why Snyder is supposedly so bad in bowl games. Bowl games, for the most part, achieves their goal of matching two equal teams. All but two of our bowl losses, second Syracuse and Oregon, were one possession losses in what amounts to coin flip games.
i think it's because in a majority of the bowls recently we got out to a horrible start.
'10 - syracuse, good start but LOSS
'11 - arkansas, bad start and LOSS
'12 - oregon, bad start and LOSS
'13 - michigan, good start and WIN (hoke factor)
'14 - UCLA, bad start and LOSS
continuing on... this is kind of selective history in that i'm not including anything before '01, but if you look at k-state's last 9 bowls, we started like crap in all but 2 of them. so it just kind of feels like we always come out unprepared.
'06 - rutgers, bad start and LOSS (not snyder, i know)
'03 - ohio state, bad start and LOSS
'02 - arizona state, bad start but WIN
'01 - syracuse, bad start and LOSS
