A month in and loving the EVO LTE, its so fast and the display is very sharp. Admittedly the battery life is crap but I have phone chargers where I sleep, where I work, and in my car so I'm not at all bothered.
Guys, I bought the Siii when a couple weeks ago and it is fantastic. Ridic quick, fantastic camera, very crisp display. Love this thing.

Went to press with it...Sprint LTE will be live in Manhattan-Junction City by Labor Day.

Getting a phone today. Live in 4G area. Is the siii still the one to get? Not getting an iPhone, sorry just not my bag.

I actually prefer the Evo LTE to the SIII. The metal body is much nicer than the plastic of the SIII. I also can't get over how blue/green the SIII screen is.
mrs. dave's EVO battery lasts about 2 minutes of talk time with a full charge. I'm trying to make her hold out for the new iphone. does anyone have a spare evo battery that they want to loan me for a few weeks? alternatively, would sprint give us one if we complained in their faces?

They are both really good.

SIII has some cool little features the EVO doesn't have.
