a mixed bag!  Have some good coaches, but have a very bad offensive play caller.  We are not good enough to be predictable.  Also, extremely disappointed in whoever chose to run Pringle onto the field to begin the game after his last two games, and after his drop early, should be done.  Must be accountable for results or you lose the team.

Can Adams play WR?  Best catch of the day.  Zuber, Harris, Pringle, Heath and Barnes with drops.  Ertz was partially at fault on Zuber but Zuber didn't break hard on his route like he should and this made all the difference.  Also, Ertz has never been physical at running but he looked a scared 8th Grader out there.  Completely scared of contact.  I am guessing he is injured and playing through it.

Pringle has become a joke at WR!  Just sticks out a hand on one.

Take the win.  We are lucky!  We did nothing after our opening drive.

Cannot cover and our DE's are not getting a pass rush.  Tanking is a joke in the passing game.

Anyway, we won!  On to Texas.

:dunno:For my KU friend who follows this thread!

KU's next game will be game 100 since the start of the 2009 season.

KU is 20-79 in the last 99 games and this started with a 5 game winning streak.  The combined records of the teams they beat in the season KU won is 98-138.  KU in their last 99 games have 6 wins against teams that finished the season with a winning record.  They are...

2014 Central Michigan - finished season 7-6
2012 South Dakota St. - finished season 9-4
2011 Northern Illinois - finished season 11-3
2011 McNeese State - finished season 6-5
2009 Iowa State - finished season 7-6
2009 Southern Mississippi - finished season 7-6

During this stretch KU has been outscored 20-36 per game.

Will Bowen be fired during the bye week if the defense doesn't step up in the 2nd half?

Ertz missed a few.  But the WR's let him down.  Harris on the first drive and then the deep pass through his hands.  Pringle with three drops.  Heath with a killer drop inside the 5.  This is the difference between winning and losing.

I have been thinking this is the most talented group of WR's we have ever had.  I don't ever remember a group playing collectively this poorly in the Snyder era.

They need to put it behind them if KSU makes a run in the Big 12.

What is sad, is how bad the WR's played tonight.  Harris has two drops early that would have kept momentum going.  Pringle 3 drops and Heath with a critical drop late.  Pathetic effort by this group and they should be embarrassed.

With that said, games come down to making plays and difference can be so small.  Fumble TD called back, miss the FG, 6 clear drops, On Vandy's second TD, Walker is clearly held and should have been 3rd and 13.  If we force FG, then we can possibly tie at the end.  We are slow to react as coaches.  The option was there all night, we only run it twice.

Gentleman and ladies, this will be a fight to get to 6, 7 or 8 wins.

I would like to see Elijah Walker move up to LB.  He is aggressive and plays fast.  He is a difference maker.  Kirby is ok and Tanking is a great backup LB.  He just disappears in the game.  Need to play Sullivan or bring up Walker.  Lamur made the change.

That is the most points KU has scored against a FCS team since 2014.    Still lost by 18.

Where are these 3?  Risner started but not playing.  Did Shelley get benched for Parker and is Pringle hurt?

Strickland did get in at the end of the game when Thompson was QB.  Other WR's to play before him were Pringle, Harris, Zuber, Shoen, Rueter.  Heath didn't play.  Saw him on sidelines in pads, but walking around without helmet.  Not sure if injured or suspended.

Really like Harris.  Very quick out of his cuts and catches the ball with his hands. Receivers are coached very well by Coleman.

Randall Evans cut today by the LA Chargers.

What is the story with these 4 Freshman?  Are they all Grey Shirts?  Not listed on Roster.

Sammy Wheeler QB
Tancy Richardson ATH
Antonio Oliver DB
Aiden Mills OL

Also Bernard Goodwater is listed as a WR, not RB as he played in HS.

Oh great, you're one of those dorks from the Scout board who thinks it's fun to call them UK, aren't you? Not here, my friend. On this board, we TSC.

I think you missed the point...4 wins in 4 games for NDSU versus 4 wins in 61 games for UK, KU, Kansas, Jayhawks, etc.

Saw this stat on Twitter.

Record vs. Power 5 since 2010

North Dakota State - 4-0
University of Kansas - 4-57

I know one of those NDSU wins is against us and one against UK, but wow!  Do you think NDSU could get to 5 in 57 more chances?

The last couple of years everyone is complaining we don't have a big back at the goal line.  Now we have one who runs hard and we have people complaining about this.  Seems like we have some people who just like to complain.  I would like to see Silmon get more looks all over the field as he looks like the best back we have.

My guess.

One position change I would like to see is Prewitt to WR, but I think we need him for depth at Safety and may be the starter by end of camp.
