Controversial take? The swastika, the Roman Aquila/SPQR eagle, and the Confederate Flag are three of the most visually appealing symbols/flags I have ever seen. Take away any context...they all LOOK badass.

Gas HAMAS

Rongagin719:05p
The Israelis are bombing the heck out of the city but HAMAS is largely deep underground.
It would be illegal to use poison gas but some kind of heavier than air gas could be effective.
Or am I completely wrong? If legal, I think HAMAS no doubt has air conditioning, but the tunnels are about to be breached in multiple places where gas could be entered. And electricity to run A/C is about to get in short supply.

I guess if you believe wrestling is real, you can believe Bud Light didn't spit in your red-blooded American face.

Will be interesting to follow, but then again I know nothing about that fan base. They might not have even heard about the ad gal dissing their customers, or the prancing twink.

I think at this point it's purely about maintaining whatever market share they still have vs. regaining what they lost.

That said I was at a sports bar watching the noon games of NFL football Sunday while the woman was shopping and about half the people at the bar were ordering BL so I guess it still has some staying power. How that piss is preferred by anyone has always been a shocker to me.

Went to the stockyards to watch a friends band perform. I put a BL on his mic stand drink holder. Took him a minutes before he caught it. Most of the folks there were laughing. Not sure if UFC can save them.

I've been a long-time fan of the UFC, and it's quite apparent that Dana White is no longer the primary decision-maker.

Having spent a lot of time reading about the history and circumstances involved - I don't see a long term viable peace solution in Israel - ever.

So why not something like this?

Jerusalem: Put under control of international cooperative with representatives from all major religions that have a stake in Jerusalem. Make the area secure and open for all visitors/pilgrims. It won't be part of any 'country' per se.

The rest of Israel/Palestine: Give it all to the Palestinians. All of it.

The Jewish population of Israel is given two options.

Option I: Repatriate to ancestral homeland from whence you came prior to 1948 along with a fair and reasonable financial contribution/scheme to get you and your family re-established.

Option II: A new Israel is formed, with twice the land area, far away from the middle east/any Muslim state. For example, perhaps a chunk or Oregon/Washington that hugs the coast that is sparsely populated or maybe an island like the Falklands or maybe a rural/untapped part of Mexico that provides some coastal access. This area is given a border, international aid for a generation and is gifted to the Jews to create a new Jewish state (similar to how in 1948 they started Israel out of the desert).

A redo, in other words. In a non-controversial area.

Hitler and Heydrich were working on a plan like this for the Jews (just sub Madagascar for Oregon/Washington sparsely populated coast hugging place) until they realized they didn't have enough ships and just decided to go ahead with the Final Solution. TexAgs in the footsteps of some sociological geniuses here.

Plus rural Oregon is famously open to government intervention on their land. Probably would just hand it over.

CNN 10 in Schools

Goose067:35a
My 5th grade daughter told me they watch CNN 10 every day in school. I had never heard of this so watched a few episodes. It's a 10 minute news program made for kids (you can go watch it online for free if you like). I'm going to watch some more episodes before I draw a final conclusion but it seems every episode has pretty liberal undertones without directly advocating for liberal causes. The 2 main themes I've noticed are that they seem to (1) demonize fossil fuels / promote climate change / green agenda and (2) sympathize with the Palestinians.

I expressed my concerns about this content not being right for 10 year olds and her teacher offered to let her opt out of watching but that doesn't seem like the right solution so I'm scratching my head at next steps. Am I wrong to think this type of crap should not be in our schools, particularly at such a young age?

For reference: I live in a pretty deep red district in Texas.

Don't let them have your children. It's a huge risk you are taking and you may regret it for the rest of your life.

There is an active agenda to separate children from their parents and its real and its happening. Get them out of the system. Find a way.

I am a conservative republican I teach Texas History and will show cnn 10 sometimes. I watch it ahead of time to make sure they don't get political. Heck sometimes they even talk about the economy and how bad it is. It is not as bad as CNN's main broadcasts. It's mostly educational and it in no way is indoctrination IMO. I get peoples concern but go watch a few and you will see it's not crazy leftist liberal news or propaganda.
Almost all of the news about Israel has been pro Israel but if you look hard enough people can find something left leaning about anything and I am the worst at that.

What most conservatives see on social media about schools pushing the gay pride and trans inclusion crap does not happen at most schools in Texas especially rural schools.

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water twice because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Franklin Graham was speaking at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida when he said America would not come back.

He wrote: * "The American dream ended." The first term of Joe Biden has been the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled, and developed the greatest republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of blacks, Latinos, feminists, gays, government workers, union members, environmental extremists, the media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed that do not want to work, illegal aliens, and other "fellow travelers" have ended.........Norman Rockwell's America.

You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to regain the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take zealots, not moderates and shy, not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs (Republicans In Name Only) to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

People like me are completely politically irrelevant. I will probably never again be able to legally comment on or concern myself with the coalition above that has surrendered our culture, heritage, and traditions without a shot being fired.

The Cocker spaniel is off the front porch, the pit bull is in the back yard, the American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals," and the likes of Chicago shyster David Axelrod along with international socialist George Soros have been pulling the strings on their beige puppet and have brought us Act 2 of the New World Order.

The curtain will come down, but the damage has been done, and the story has been told.

Those who come after us will once again have to risk their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to white guilt and political correctness.."

Was Mike Johnson the Planned McCarthy Replacement All Along?

texagbeliever3:32p
For those that followed this closely, is it possible getting Mike Johnson was the play for the conservatives all along?

Reasons:
1. Mike Johnson is a nobody and would be easy to secret vote against and Americans wouldn't bat an eye. So it wasn't really possible for him to be the guy in the first go round.
2. Put up a Jim Jordan who will get a ton of hate. Have him be defeated by secret vote. Setup the rhino vs conservative battle lines. Also have the media blow their load on hating on Jim Jordan. Public would get anti-republican nominated speaker fatigue.
3. Then nominate Mike Johnson. Who? Have the vote be a roll call so people are put on record. Republicans would have screamed if there would have been a push to not do a roll call vote. Any RINO that tried to defend it would be ending their political career. All the stars aligned nicely for Mike Johnson to win.
4. Jim Jordan had baggage that Mike Johnson won't. So Mike Johnson might be the better candidate of the two to lead as speaker.

How am I off texags?
