I don't like you, TCU guy.  GMFP sounds trashy and calling Texas UTerus is lame.

Their logo looks like a uterus.  Color me not surprised a K-Stater doesn't get that.

No, it's just that we got it a few years ago and it's and old, unfunny joke now.

Tennessee has offered the Vols head coaching job to Mike Gundy, a source told CBS this morning.

I want him to go in there and just wreck that conference with offense.

If you account for Defensive SOS, Tennessee had a better offense than oSu this year. It's defense they need help with.

as absolutely weird as it sounds, i heard some wisconsin people talking last week and they didn't like bielema. they were all, well he better beat nebraska or i want him gone. i was shocked. maybe bielema was actually feeling some heat and was like screw this, i'm out if i get a really good offer somewhere else. he was only .500 in league this year and finished behind ohio st and penn st in his division.

I live in Wisconsin, work w/many Badgers & can confirm this.  Odd. I would've taken Bielema as HCIW after the Dr. Pepper in 2003 - gladly!  :dunno:

Wisconsin fans had high hopes for a national title this year (plus Ball was supposed to win the Heisman), may have something to do with their anger.

OSU was also playing musical chairs with injured freshman QB's for most of the year. I'm sure if you compare the Tennessee numbers to last season or the year before, Gundy's offense stomps them.

They blew their chance last year with Russel Wilson

This is sort of neat:

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8718209/barry-alvarez-coach-wisconsin-badgers-rose-bowl-bret-bielema-says

Only similar thing that could potentially be more interesting is Tom Osborne coaching a game for some reason.

I know it's early but here's a list of coaches who will be entering next season on seat warmers...hell some of them might not even make it through the offseason...and extend the carousel.  Just some ideas as to what other programs could have openings next season.

Kiffin at USC
Sarkesian at Washington
Kill at Minnesota (people hate him up here..and already tired of his copout seizures)
Ferentz at Iowa
Wilson at Indiana
Beckman at Illinois
London at Virginia
Grobe at Wake Forrest
Edsall at Maryland
...and Pinkel  :drink:+ :driving:+ :chainsaw:

Isn't Ferentz signed through like 2020?  Seems like I read an article about that being the worst contract in CFB.  Kill has 'Sota in a bowl this year, doesn't he?  He'd have to really suck balls next year to get fired, you'd assume seizure dudes are a minority.  And the rest of those guys- who are they?  Did you just get bored and start making up names?
Yeah that's exactly what i did  :dubious:

So if the Reports of Charlie Strong taking the extension and staying at UofL are true..who the hell is Tennessee gonna hire?...this would be two straight coaching searches where they've whiffed on candidates.

So reading a couple of Badger posts scattered about the web, it seems they are fine with this. Apparently Bielema's record is good because he's beat up on Indiana, Purdue, Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois, while he's sub .500 against tOSU, Michigan, Penn State, and Michigan State

In 2009 he beat Michigan State, Michigan, and Miami, but lost @tOSU, Iowa, and NW, went 10-3
In 2010 he beat tOSU and @Michigan, but lost to @Michigan State - went to Rose Bowl
In 2011 he beat Nebraska, Penn State, and Michigan State (BigTen Champ), but lost @Michigan State (regular season) and @tOSU - went to Rose Bowl

This past year was rough, but those people are crazy if they think they are going to get anyone who is going to compete with Urban Meyer the next 6-8 years.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls
