I know it's early but here's a list of coaches who will be entering next season on seat warmers...hell some of them might not even make it through the offseason...and extend the carousel.  Just some ideas as to what other programs could have openings next season.

Kiffin at USC
Sarkesian at Washington
Kill at Minnesota (people hate him up here..and already tired of his copout seizures)
Ferentz at Iowa
Wilson at Indiana
Beckman at Illinois
London at Virginia
Grobe at Wake Forrest
Edsall at Maryland
...and Pinkel  :drink:+ :driving:+ :chainsaw:

Isn't Ferentz signed through like 2020?  Seems like I read an article about that being the worst contract in CFB.  Kill has 'Sota in a bowl this year, doesn't he?  He'd have to really suck balls next year to get fired, you'd assume seizure dudes are a minority.  And the rest of those guys- who are they?  Did you just get bored and start making up names?

When players quit a program in spectacular fashion, there's usually smoke somewhere.  Minnesota had a star receiver quit and whine to the press about being denied a scholly and treated meanly by Kill.  Minnesota just built a badass new stadium on campus a few years ago, and they have higher expectations now.  I don't think Minn people like Kill, and the weird crap that went down this season player wise brought a lot of unwanted attention.  If they win 6 or less games next year- I think he's gone.  I don't know how the eff they suck so badly.  45,000 students in the middle of a large metropolis with solid facilities.  I don't understand how Wisconsin has been that much better than Minn for so long.

Funny thing is, with the competition implosion that's happened in that pud conference, I bet they can really start to compete in that crap division over the next few years.  They'll easily beat the newcomers for the forseeable future, and the other teams in the division definitely don't look to be getting any better anytime soon.  The next coach at Minnesota could really break out and look like a genius.

Kill is awful.  How can that guy be the CEO of a program that hopes to accomplish anything?

Iowa fans are getting pissed, co worker sent me this article a couple of weeks ago and I loved this paragraph.

The Iowa Hawkeyes football team, with the longest tenured and second highest paid coach in the Big Ten, is on the verge of its worst record since the 2000 season. There is trouble in paradise, if you consider a small college town dissected by a muddy river in a lightly populated farming state paradise (I do, by the way). The natives are restless, you can see it, and the natives pride themselves on almost never being restless, and if they are, never showing it.

Perception around here is that SEC > BigXII > big 10

That said,

Wisconsin to Arkansas is a lateral (maybe backward) move.

OSU to Tennessee is a promotion.

weird.

Oh man that'd be great. Especially if A&M and Tennessee are competing for SEC Championships every year.

FIU just fired Mario Cristobal for going 3-9 this year.  12 months ago he was a young, rising coach and probably could have left FIU for a better job.  Now, fired.

It's funny that his last name sounds like you are saying "Crystal Ball" if you are speaking American.

Yeah, however, the narrative will be “those offenses/teams weren’t good until they got SEC athletes”.  It’s “why” MU can’t compete.  Don’t have SEC athletes.

as absolutely weird as it sounds, i heard some wisconsin people talking last week and they didn't like bielema. they were all, well he better beat nebraska or i want him gone. i was shocked. maybe bielema was actually feeling some heat and was like screw this, i'm out if i get a really good offer somewhere else. he was only .500 in league this year and finished behind ohio st and penn st in his division.

The best thing for coaches to do is rack up some success, and at the first sight that you think things might be slipping at your current job (like losing your OC and 5 other assistants, then going 7-5, 4-4 while firing your new OL coach 3 weeks in) is to take a new job that is slightly better and get a raise while the fans of the new school will be excited they landed you.

I don't blame him. Tenn would be a huge step down for him.
