Yeah GMFP would look weird on the sidelines at UT. He's too small-time. Look at his dumpy frame and his darkened lenses.

Yes he does.  They all do.

Watch some GMFP interviews. He doesn't.

Well, no, he doesn't want the circus.  But he would take the job and put up with the circus in a heart beat.  That's what I meant.  Don't kid yourself that he'd stay at TCU to avoid media scrutiny.

Coaches that WOULDN'T take the Texas job:
1. Snyder (too old)
2. Spurrier (too old)
3. Saban (Doesn't need it)

If I left someone out please correct this list.

I have it on good authority that patterson is looking to get out of that shithole as soon as he can, he's just waiting for the best offer.

the problem, of course, is that nobody is offering that turd a job.

First Houston Nutt leaves Nubb at the tarmac and now Nubb triple dekes Bo.  Hilarious.  Also, I always thought a defensive dude would be a better fit at UA than a Gundy type.  They already tried an offensive dude and that wasn't working even before bikegate.

lolwut

Getting your teeth kicked in by the top teams in your division every year isn't what UA are expecting.

Hmmmm.... If Texas came calling:

No:
Snyder, Spurrier, Saban

Maybe:
Stoops, Meyer, Miles

Yes:
Pretty much everyone else.

OH HAI GUISE.

I told you GMFP wasn't going anywhere.  We're going to skullfuck the big12 next year.

You and OSU should battle for it.  @ OU, @ KSU, and @ OSU should be tough-ish.  But this isn't the thread for that discussion (feel free to start a "2013 Predictos" thread though).  Also, please beat LSU, tia.

Auburn takes Malzahn back.  Our offense should be back on track quickly, who knows on D :(

Arkansas getting the Wisconsin coach is a huge surprise, not sure what that guy is thinking.

Patterson loves the media circus, he just gets off on being an abrasive prick. They all love the circus, or they wouldn't be doing what they do.

Mack Brown still could retire.

That's the only opening that slightly scares me.  That being said GMFP doesn't want the media circus that comes with UTerus

Yes he does.  They all do.

He's a socially awkward weirdo, the small stage of TCU is perfect for him.  He can (and has) completely hide in DFW, they don't care.  TCU is literally like 8th-10th in the sports conscience of that town.  He's shooting up with a bullet with the NHL lockout, grats for the stroke of luck frogs.

That being said, who gives a flying eff?  Why should we have to suffer with daily TCU non-updates because their message boards suck?

Only the most important.

4. GMFP

He owns TCU and Fort Worth.  He isn't leaving for the pressure cooker program that is UTerus.

Not saying that they may have unreasonable expectations but they do have a lot of money invested in sports there.

Their fans were absolutely giddy with 3rd in the division last year.  Of course they want to beat Bama and LSU, but a coach could stay their a long time while consistently getting beat by them.  If a coach beats each once every 5 years and finishes with 8 to 10 win seasons, he would be just fine.
