Yards per play: Tied for 68th.
Takeaways per game: 118th.

So the ESPN poll got me thinking about CFB voting biases; how the votes are distributed and how regions vote. Only two of the top ten underrated are from the eastern time zone and none of them are from the south. Meanwhile of the ten most overrated six of them are southern, two of the remaining four are from the eastern time zone and all of the remaining four are schools who are considered traditional powers.

Yep, I closed my ESPN the Mag in disgust a few days ago after reading this.  Also we not in the "almost in" section.  TTech was though.  Picked to finish 7th in the league.

Legitimate question here: Do you think the voters just completely forgot about us? I mean there's no way they think TTU is actually better, right? 

T-tech beat a really good asu team in their bowl game (with a freshman qb), we beat a really bad michigan team in ours.

A poor man's Oregon IMO. But they did just win the Big 12, even if they did get thrashed by an above average to good UCF team.

Yeah, I think they definitely take a step back this year.  I don't think the defense will be as bad as it was when RG3 was the QB, but it won't as good as it was last year.  I could easily see 9-3 from them with losses to OU, KSU and possibly TCU/Tech/Some rando team.
