Other knocks against Vegas: kind of boring after a couple visits if you don't like gambling.

Why would you go to vegas if you don't like gambling?

for a rough ridin' bachelor party

feels more elite (to me) to do that in a city where everybody else isn't doing the same thing. it's subjective obviously.

i subjectively agree

I disagree, had a lot more fun at Bachelor Party in Nashville than I did in Chicago.

The reason? Tons of bachelorette parties to creep on in Nashville.

O really, you are from out of town and here with 10 girls? Whatdoyaknow, I'm here from out of town with 10 bros!

(Whips off belt and starts a limbo line in the middle of the dance floor)

You can creep on lame bachelorette parties at the P&L every weekend.  You're welcome.

had one guy walk to the rio and try to get in his room, only prob is we were staying at hardrock (barf).

i once spent over an hour in a hotel in south padre trying to find my room number before i was asked by a security guard that i had walked past twenty times what room number i was looking for and then what hotel i was staying inn and then he said "this isn't the holiday inn. your hotel is a mile up the beach. i'll get you a cab". then he got me a cab and the cab driver had to wake me up when we got there. point is, that kind of stuff happens all the time. all the time.

Hi guys! Work is sending me up to Michigan tomorrow. I'll fly into Grand Rapids and drive over to Holland for the night. I'll be staying in the Marriott right off Lake Michigan. :D After my meeting Wednesday morning I drive to Kalamazoo for lunch with a client. Any Western Michigan suggestos?

You'll be staying in a Courtyard or Residence Inn several miles from Lake Michigan, but you should go to New Holland Brewery in downtown Holland and try their pumpkin ale and also go to Bell's Taproom in Kalamazoo. The beaches are really nice there, but it will be cold and that's kind of a weird work trip activity.

Making the rounds in Denver area this week. Any must eat joints in Denver? I need a good spot for tomorrow (Tuesday). I'm planning on lunch in Breckenridge on Wednesday. Eating in Buena Vista on Thursday. Not boozing hard this trip as I'm doing a lot of early morning hiking. Maybe a couple of pints at Breck Brew.

Hmm. Hadn't considered sushi there. I love sushi. I'd been searching for tex-mex and steak. Thanks.

UNCLE (asian, steamed pork buns and the like) is good in Denver.  Euclid hall has a good beer list and interesting menu (Pad thai pigs ears/blood sausage, which are both great). Cholon is also pretty good, similar to UNCLE.  More fine dining ish and thus more expensive.

Breck doesn't have a whole lot that blows me away from my time there.  Twist was good.  Cajun place in Frisco is good.  Butterhorn Bakery is good for breakfast/lunch and a bloody.  Mountain Lion Café in Silverthorne is good for a huge ass breakfast without booze.

I've never been there fwiw. It's owned by Omaha people and this is their first place outside of Omaha. The Blue Sushi in Omaha is great though.
