About the same.  A lot more variety, though.  I like the "Boulevard Grill" and Gates.

Why go to Gates at the ballpark?   

The best things out there are the nachos, the grilled pretzels, and those summer sausage things + beers.

The Nachos at the Cantina are great.  Probably the best value at the ball park.

BUCK NIGHT is overrated.  The $1 pepsi is pathetic, probably 8 oz.  You are allowed to bring in your own food, so I rarely ever eat at the ball park.

You live within shooting distance (reference ku fan comments about Bryant's) of 2 Gates & Sons (32nd & Main St and the one on Emanuel Cleaver).  While at Stadium you must Stadium!

Last year on opening day they left the jalapeņos on the concourse so you could serve yourself.  I loved them for doing that but then they never did it again at another game I was at.

I know.  I don't think I've actually ate Gates at the stadium since I've lived in KC.  Maybe when I was still in college.  I think I put the sauce on a hot dog once (I love their sauce).

I interviewed for a job today that would put me within a half-mile of a Gates'.  If I get it, I expect to take five years off my life by eating lunch there too frequently.
