We did not bring HCBH here to get to the NIT. Was this season a success or failure?

It was an overall success.  We improved greatly over the course of the season and have finished better than we have in a long time.

It wasn't spectacular, but really, it is about what I realistically predicted it to be.  We just got screwed over.

A failure.  Not a huge failure, but anything short of the NCAA is merely a jerk off...

Come on guys, this season was an unmitigated success.  This season was Wooly's revenge with not a lot of talent and a ton of horrible road games.  Fifty-two weeks ago there were people on this and other message boards questioning firing Wooly...the fact that we EARNED a bye in the Big 12 tourney and landed on the bubble, albeit the wrong side, speaks volumes about how good a coach Huggins is.

2007-08 is going to be a great season for K-State athletics

this thread is a pile of crap.
We all know there's been a conspiracy. Only the failures have been recorded.

even the best coaches can only do so much with the roster Wooly brought in

It a success.  Especially when compared to having Wooly's dumb@ss here.  No way we let that room full of NCAA pricks determine whether our season was a success or not.

The only failure was by the selection morons.  We did unimaginably well for a team with a new coach.  We learned the system and handled our conference.

Success. This is like ku getting 5 wins in football. It would be a milestone.

We beat a ranked opponent on the road and are fourth best in the Big 12. Just those are accomplishments for a team that hasn't done that forever/ever.
