I kinda hope he does.   At times we have struggled offensivly the first 5-7 minutes of the game.   I really don't want to have 8 pts when the under 12 timeout hits.

Tech has been starting Plefka and Dora here lately.... so that is who Dave and CMart would be matched up with to start.

Yes.  We need to start good on offense.  No better way than Yae!

    started the auburn/ksu hillbillie war
the reason he doesn't start is to stagger his and hoskins foul trouble. it has worked so far this year. he still is only averaging .1 minutes less than the leader David Hoskins and only has 2 minutes total this season less than Hoskins. So no, i don't think he needs to start, it is safer to have both hoskins and martin in through the length of the game.

Hoskins minutes: avg: 26.7, total: 828

Yaes minutes: avg: 26.6, total: 826

I think you gotta start him.  It was weird having some assemblence of an offensive threat on the court to start the game. I understand the logic, but right now Yae is a huge confidence builder for this team. They seem to play the beginning of games like they're waitin for Yae to come in. Start him and get it rollin early.

From the Osborne grad, Levi Wolters:

Quote
For starters

It was the first time this season Huggins used a starting lineup of Wright, Martin, Harris, Clent Stewart and David Hoskins.

There's a good chance it will be the last, too.

Huggins said afterward that Martin's start was "a senior thing," meaning he'll probably go back to starting Luis Colon and bringing Martin off the bench. The Wright, Colon, Harris, Stewart, Hoskins lineup is 9-2 this season.

"You saw what happened when I started both of those guys (Martin and Hoskins," Huggins said. "All of a sudden, Dave was in foul trouble."

Hoskins had two fouls in the first 11 minutes.
