ya i saw the osu game the other day and Steve was out there, but he does a crap ton more big 12 games than big 10 games

This was much more of an issue with Roy's games in Allen.  Clinging onto this concept is like clinging onto the notion that KSU has a good football team.

As I noted last night.  This is the 2nd big monday in a row where the team playing ku got a bad call, or a bad no call against them at a critical point in the game, and the coach of the team that got jobbed gets T'd up.

After both incidents Fran said that the ref should just walk away from a coach who was mad when it was clear the refs had blown the call . . . he said in tight games when a ref blows a call and a coach gets ticked off, the ref needs to just walk way for a bit and see if the coach cools off.

Fran's theory sounds nice, until you realize how completely retarded it is. First of all, aren't 99% of all technicals called because the coach is bitching about a perceived bad call? So is Fran saying refs should never call technicals on mad coaches? Or should the refs check with Fran first to see if it is an appropriate time to T someone up?
Second, the refs don't know (at the time) that they blew the call. If they did, they would have just made the correct call in the first place. Fran is really dumb.
