Cool.  They finally got a ACC/Big 10 challenge-type thing set up.

"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Nah, they'll just come up with a new ducks uniform.  One that isn't "unlucky."

Although, with all those combinations, I think they've got a good ten years before they re-use a combination.  Especially with the addition of those glow in the dark helmets.

I wonder what that gives us now for a schedule.

Cal should be coming to Manhattan next year.  At Cinci vs Xavier again.  Oregon in Manhattan.  2007 Old Spice Classic in Orlando.

And in 08 we'll play at Cleveland State for some scholarship deal named after a former coach.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
Nice. I was wondering if they would get this done. The Pac-10 isn't bad they have the top conference RPI, if you buy in to that sort of thing. But I would rather play the Big East.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

No the best OOC home game will be either the North Carolina or the Gonzaga game next season.  One we play in the Jimmy V and one we play in the Bram (don't know which is which).

A deal is being set up for @ Kentucky next year and a game in Manhattan the year after.

If we would happen to get NC in Manhattan, definately the best game, but Oregon would probably be better than Gonzaga next year.  Oregon is currently 14-1 and #15/17 in the country and Gonzaga is 11-6 and not even recieving votes.

I bet we get Gonzaga in Manhattan, and NC at the Jimmy V.  I just don't see Roy coming back to Kansas right now.

But oh, if we *did* get UNC here...the absolute joy that posting at phog.net would be!
