i thought i heard it was well over 30 but i cant dig it up anywhere. i think i found an article on espn saying 48 different combos...but this was in august too so throw in the new helmet and hell maybe they have came out with a couple new ones since then to. 48+?

At the risk of sounding like a whiney booster, I kind of like our uniforms the way they are now.  Actually, I really like them the way they are now.  I'd be pissed as all hell if they changed our helmets.

I wouldn't be opposed to getting a third uniform.  Maybe an all white one with purple numbers would be cool.  A black one would work, but we'd look too much like the hated Oakland Raiders.

Does anyone like Louisville's black uni's?  I think they are by far the bast possible outcome at an attempted black uniform.  Not sure if you could substitute the red for purple thou...

Oregons unis are terrible, but I think it might be because of the colors more than the design. Green and yellow are just not good for football unis.
Picture their unis in purple, white, black, silver and they're not so hidious.
Those new helmets have potential too.
Either way, ya gotta give them props for trying something new.
KSU's unis: the home games look fine, but a change could be good.
IMO the road unis are downright ugly. No color whatsoever. White jerseys and grey/silver pants looks horrible. Need purple pants on the road

The problem is that black and purple uniforms look like sh*t.  Look at our basketball uniforms, you can barely see the purple in the jersey.  If we're going to go black then our secondary color has to be silver/white and not purple.

I actually haven't seen them myself. My roommate works for K-State in Bramlage and Vanier, basically as a janitor (he tries to glorify it), and he saw the blueprints for the new jerseys on a desk in Vanier.

There will be some "stripey" changes, but the overall color scheme and helmets will be unaltered.

They talked about them last night during the pregame and one of the players said coach would have to be around for another 16 seasons to see every combination. It's good to have options.
